Pretty nice. But I don't like to draw that kind of lips but that's just me. Welcome aboard.

Simple lips. Not very detailed.

Crits:

Inks ar good for you. These lines are very rough, so I would suggest either working on improving your penciling technique to make them smoother or learn to ink. Overall the figure is ok, but it's pretty clear to me that it was made by just guessing how the lines can go, rather than knowing the real shape they should be.

Tell tale signs of this are the shoulders, particularly how the left arm does not have the right kind of cuver to the neck (should be more convex than concave, study yourself in the mirror), and the right arm meets the body at a very different location than the left does.

You have good visual skills and a steady hand, I like the hair and the face, but to improve you should study anatomy and use shapes to construct your images rather than lines.

The CG itself is pretty good, you have a good idea of where shading and hilight should go. The most important things to remember in CG are LIGHT and CONTRAST. The light source in this image isn't very clear, maybe front? More contrast would really help the image pop.

I hope that helps.

Thanks a lot : D

I can't find anything but a 0.1 ml pen to ink with, so that might be part of the roughness problem.

There's more to girls than just simple lines. Add more curves! Even little babies have curves to their bodies.

The fingers hmmm... the last finger looks like a thumb(seeing how you drew the thumb). Perhaps you can draw little sausages as different sections of the finger before connecting them. It'll look much nicer.

And I agree with spikecomix. Studying yourself in the mirror can be really helpful with proportions. That's what I do when I didn't have an idea where something should go.

The colouring is good!

The straightness comes from the design of the dress, the top part is tight and then from the black band the fabric poofs out. I don't think there's much space for curviness because Blossom doesn't really have a chest and her hips are hidden by the poof.

Thanks for the critique though. : D

Ask your parents to go with you to buy new pens. They don't have to be art pens, though Micron and Zig pens work well. Any old ink-flow bic pen works fine too, particularly the Uniball series. Pilot pens are pretty good too.

I have a fine black pilot pen, but the sketch paper I'm using is absorbent and the lines come out fuzzy.

Well, the reason why I suggested curves is because the Blossom you drew looks far more matured and grown up as compared to the original.

From what I see, you don't do much guidelines do you?(neither do I X3)
Perhaps you could do a naked body first before you start on the outfit. That's what I do anyways. It will make a big difference.

I wasn't trying to make her look that much older. I was trying to get her to normal porportions of like...a 3rd or 4th grader.

Your eyes have a crazy unique style to them.

I like it... I just think you should spend more time on proportions :)

and on the ppgs, i think their legs are too far apart (from where they connect)

over all... Awesome!
