And i'm back (not that anyone noticed I was gone)

Postby Christerray » Sun Dec 12, 2004 11:28 pm

Sadly, it seems that all my writing and planning for a doujinshi based on PPGD have mostly faded out. Oddette has disappeared from the internet, and I am left without an artist....

And her drawings were soo good of them as teenagers. Oh well.

Anyway, life has been hectic. I wrote up about 30 chapters of a sequel (fitting together stories with Professor Utonium being behind the Les Enfants Terribles project, and "chemical X" was part of Big Boss from MGS fame; Ed, Edd, and Eddy, with the help of Coop, trick out the van that they hang out in at the dump, ect, ect.) and it was really shaping out to be a real good story, with tons of drama (Starfire is murdered and Robin goes "Punisher" against a street gang in San Fran)

There was a lot more, but in case it does fly, i don't wanna spoil o.o;;

Oh well. Blecch. World of Warcraft is fun :D How's everyone doing? Missed you guys lots :D

*hands you a muffin*

Welcome back, person-I-do-not-know.
During the day, in the middle of the night,
two dead boys got up to fight.
Back to back they faced each other,
drew their swords and shot each other.
A deaf policeman heard the noise,
came and shot the two dead boys.
And if you dont believe that this lie is true,
ask the blind man, he saw it too.

GuildWars has a definaite fate of three things.

1: It will end up getting a monthly charge.
2: It will be shut down, possibly before it even starts.
3: The game will cost 500 dollars at launch.

Now 3 isn't very likely. I'd say 1 is most likely. There is simply no way a company is going to be able to run an MMORPG with any success without an income, and there will be next to no profit, let alone money to work on, from the game's retail sale. Not to mention it has plenty of other contendors for playerbase like WoW or EQ/EQ2.

Personally I think the genre is getting stale as it is, but that's just my opinion and i've been playing EQ for longer than I should say. I've played WoW to level 45 and already I've grown tired with it as well. I suppose I should move on but I just don't know what to move on TO. I just don't think i'll have fun playing another one of these games.
Never asked for this

Welcome back Christerray - "The person whom I do not know."
A train leaves the station, going south, at 2:00 pm at a constant speed of 80 km/h. Another train, going north, reaches that same station at 3:00 pm at a constant speed of 60 km/h. When will the trains be closest to each other? <-- Why are people scared of this? Perhaps it's because it requires Calculus!
d(x) = sqrt((60 - 60x)^2 + (80x)^2)
So:
d'(x) = (1/2)(10000x^2-7200x+3600)^(-1/2)(20000x -7200)
To determine the possible critical points - let d'(x)=0 --> The trains will be closest together at 2:21.40 pm.

Weren't you the reason that Dac never let us start the serious RPG? If so I will loathe you forever, or untill I find someone else to hate unthinkingly.

...As you can tell we were overrun by the newbies after you left. I guess there are two kinds of PPGD fans now, those that heard about it before the great link, and those that came from Megatokyo.

No, just screwing with ya. It means moron.

Welcome back random person. You should run in fear now. Crazy people have taken over. >.@
And God looked down upon the mortals and said: "...wtf are you noobs doing on my lawn?"

That's the problem with worshipping the god of schemes. You never quite know whether or not you're being divinely blessed, screwed over royally, or both at the same time.

Random person? How dare you lable me with such an audacious title. I should draw and quarter you for such blasphemy.

In other news...my pole lick picture fails to upload, and it makes me upset.
