EDIT: I've just thought! Most people here probably won't know who Mike Skinner is!
He's a hugely respected pop innovator who is also a wanker without a musical bone in his body but quite a lot of 'talking about inane bollocks' over repetitive guitar riffs' bones. It's not rap, it's not poetry and it's certainly not singing, it's POO!

SUGGESTIONS OPEN

I'm going to use my amazing mod powers to break the rules and suggest the following ones that were really good suggestions but lost out to music last time.

* Historical Figures
* Gadgets/Machines
* Macabre/Horror


Also, in case you haven't noticed it's getting harder and harder for me to run these contests. University is back in session and taking seven mechanical engineering courses while also doing a lot of volunteer work for various school organizations doesn't exactly leave me with a lot of time.

To that end, it would be really really nice to have an auxillary judge. Someone who will take over most of what I do for these contets most of the time.

You need to meet these criteria:
* You must be yourself an artist or be very knowledgable about what goes into making art
* You must have proven yourself to be responsible around this forum
* You can't wuss out after 2 weeks and let the contest die like Flux did.
* If something beyond your control comes up that prevents you from doing the contest (either for a week or longer) you MUST notify me and you must try to find a replacement for yourself that also meets these criteria.
* You don't have to be a mod, I'll still lock/sticky/put polls in/etc.

So yeah. I'm looking for volunteers. If I don't get any, I will still do the contest but you can expect delays like we had this week and there's a high chance that the contest will die outright.

I suggest portraits (not self-portraits), preferably accompanied by a photo of the subject.

Also, since I like the contests and to the best of my knowledge meet the judge criteria, I'd be willing to take up the position if nobody else volunteers.
