...Gods how I hate random crap threads. I guess the mods at my first forum must have rubbed off on me. THIS WHOLE THING SHOULD BE CONSIDERED SPAM AND THROWN OUT!
"I saw it, there, in the sewers...for just a second. All hunched over, skin pale white beneath those rags...so many rags. The vermin crawled about his feet like idolaters at worship, and I swear that the wind drew breath in a frightened gasp at his passing. He wore cold like a cloak and I swear that behind that smiling golden mask he was laughing at me as his curved blade rose and fell, cutting through my men. It left wounds filled with crystals of salt...the screams...the screams...and the pants....Gods! The Pants!!!"
-Captain Urtin, who salted and ate his former soldiers.

This is the way I see it: If there's one thread dedicated to useless posts and spam, it will be less likely to end up in the threads with a purpose.

Granted I'm not really fond that people use these threads specifically to raise their postcount and make literally useless posts, but if they're going to do it, there may as well be a set area to do it in.

Doesn't always work though. The forum for the band Rhapsody is a good example. They have a whole usergroup which is named (get ready now.. are you ready? You liar...) "The Kingdom of Spam." This usergroup is dedicated to spam, not only do they have their own SECTION, they have numerous topics dedicated to spam, and the so-called "art" of spamming. With all of that, there is still so much crap posted in the normal topics, it's just sad. I believe a number of the members are closing in on fifteen thousand (15,000) posts. That forum has only been up since May 2003, not to mention some of those people didn't join until later.

It's definately one of the most disturbing things i've seen.
