The more I think about it, the more it sounds a little bad idea. the reason being is that the demographic for the cartoons are the kind of people that can't understand the concept of "this is a different world than that one even though the same people are there." They will get confused. And parents will look at it and say it is too mature for them. All this shit will pile up.

I say publish it and claim fair use.

If all else fails, upload it to file sharing servers and torrent sites to spread it across the interweb. :P

The odds are very low, because, as said before, the characters are all copyrighted and that would be illegal to derive a profit from them. Unless Bleedman received explicit permission from both the creators and networks, we wont be able to read the series in a book for a long while.

Well, he lives in the Phillipines, not the US. If he published it there, what does that mean?

Hmm... Interesting point. But I do believe that most copyright laws expand outside of their native country. If they didn't, then someone could invent something within one country but be unable to market it within another country without it being stolen and re-marketed.

Get it?

Japan has laws that would allow Bleedman to publish this stuff, but I'm unsure as to how it works with importing and stuff.

Well I think it could be possible. Seeing that PPG has been taken of fthe air by its creator, and I think fans have been wanting something new. It could be like in the Sabrina comics, suddenly hey are all drawn by an Animé artist, which is really cool and I own them all. And maybe bleedman could e-mail the creator, or even call CN. I know people who have, but I have no idea what their addresses are.

What...the...Hell? What sort of blasphemy are you talking about? Since when has the PowerPuff Girls been taken off of the air? I watched some yesterday! They can't be gone, because they're not!! You're obviously lying.

Ack, I meant the SHOW its self has been canceled. Meaning the sixth season was annouced the last season. I think Puffy AmiYumi took its palce on the Friday night lineup.

Still, blasphemy.

Craig McKracken had better have something more important to start working on, if he even considers dumping my girls.

*shrugs* Most likely CN pulled them out, or something else. I don't know, it wasn't ever posted the reason. CN just said that the production was over.

How many online petitions have been succesful in restoring a show to the airwaves? You would need literally millions of sigs to make a dent.

Or it might fall on it's face. Maybe McCraken is tierd of doing PPG, maybe he wants somthing new, so he can exercise his tallents in new ways. Maybe the constant schedule shuffling killed thier ratings. And maybe some of the fans are just tired of repeats. Any thing is possible but this is highly improbable, kind of the same odds as FOX picking up Firefly for a second run.

I would say the best chance for this to get published is if the creators/original animators of most of the characters became fans of it (especially gendy tartovsky and craig mccraken who created most of the ones used) and decided to indulge one of their fans............for a share in any of the profits of course :P
