I was just browsing around and it sort of hit me.

What sort of music does everyone here lean towards? Since this forum is based around Endling's comic, I just started wondering if the majority of people will have similar tastes in music, or if it's really varied.

It just seems like an interesting thing to me to compare!

rock, rap, and good combinations of the two. At least thats my general preferance. I like a lot of other types of music depending on my mood.

Depends.

I had my dose of rap, now it's just getting on my nerve.
People might not agree with this (and it might not be true) but to me the lyrics sound all the same. And don't even mention french rap. God, these guys are only lamenting about their poor conditions! Right, you can express your feelings, but after a whole CD you still talk about how you got dumped by your girlfriend?! Geeez, man!

So no rap. Jazz... Well, some jazz is ok, since I don't really listen to jazz I can't really tell. My mom used to listen to a kind of jazz I really despite: Mostly based on trumpet solo. I don't know why, but I can't stand its sound.

Then... Well, classical music is ok, but I have passed more than ten years in a music school (aside from regular school) so my brain kind of reject classical music now (overloaded? :p). Buuuuuuut it's ok from time to time.

Ah, please no hardcore yelling, that makes my poor ears bleed. Heavy-hardcore-destructo-psycho-anarcho metal is no no for me (does that even exist? 0.-)

Opera music is... well, I don't really like the usual high-piched singer voice. I do like NightWish, though (don't know NightWish? Google is your friend :D)

The rest is alright with me... I like atmospheric music (although I have absolutly no idea if that correspond to what I'm thinking). Music without lyrics, not as repetitive as usual techno stuff, a bit lighter and softer. Like some video game music (weird? Nahhhhhh^^)

I actually don't mind which style a song is in if it sounds good i will listen to it. Although i listen alot to rock, techno, metal and trance.

mostly rock heavy metal. HATE rap and as some know rap makes up 75% of crap
