Since this is a place for Endlings fans to talk I guess I'll be the first to do a topic not about Ever After.

July 1988... The month where the first Nintendo Power issue was released. I'm too young to remember this issue, and probably most others on here also are, but now you can download this issue online. The issue has a huge Super Mario Bros. 2 preview (Remember, This Was 1988). It also features a Zelda guide and many other Nintendo goodies.

I used to have a suscription back when I was younger. I had some of the oldest issues and I read those things like crazy. My favorite cover is the one for Castlevania where Simon Belmont is holding Dracula's severed head. They definately got some letters on that one.

I have a ton of original Nintendo Powers sitting in my closet. Reviews range from the Teenage Mutant Turtles first game to Final Fantasy II. Complete with cheat codes to the original Metal Gear for the NES. I love flipping through these.
