But... I was noticing that when I was drawing Omi, how small he is... but then we're not sure how big Tin is either... for all we know, Tin could be the size of an action figure from 'little people' toys.

But then again... i'm sure after this gets noticed many people will start to tell me 'kindly' how tall tin is and how he isn't the size of little people action figures...

Endling's is the prettiest, and BG07's was the funniest, IMHO.

I'm officially entering now, because I don't want the YouTube entry to win. I'm going to be doing everything in my power to knock that thing out, 'cuz:

A) They cut the song
B) Choppy transitions and editing
C) Pretty obscure references
D) The song is by Lemon Demon, who also wrote/performed Word Disassociation on Google Video
E) Dave liked it

well i guess ill get to it, ive been marveling these comics for a long time, sooo...., i joined to take part in the contest

A) The song was too long and would have been harder to get pictures for.
B) It's hard to trasition when you have 1) Crappy software 2) Not a lot of things to work with.
C) I'm only using Snafu comics, of course they are going to be obscure.
D) I didn't know who the writer/performer was and would have given them proper credit.
E) He owns the site, so there's nothing you can do.

Don't take this as disrespect. I'm giving reasons. Spikecomix told me that it was perfectly okay. Its okay not to like it, but to say that you will do everything in your power to kick out a perfectly fair entry is worng. I have the same chance as anyone.

Taku fails at detecting sarcasm.

The first 3 were critiques, the fourth was info, so you can update it and give due credit to the artists, and the last was the staple shot at Dave, which also indicated sarcasm. When you join a forum, it's typically a good idea to check back-posts and figure out what different people's posting styles are. That way, you don't make a fool of yourself when someone says something and you completely misconstrue it.

If you're going to do a music video, you should at least do the whole song. Chopping it up tends to be viewed as a lack of effort by the general population of the MV community. The stuff you were doing looked like it was a very basic power point presentation. You could at least use Windows Movie Maker, and put together something with interesting transitions. As for using "only" comics on SNAFU, first off, you plugged a friend's comic, second, you have about 12 for T.W., at least 210 SNAFU, 36 or so for Grim, maybe 22 Tin, 4 Zim, 4 Ever After (not including the ones on DA), 140 PPGD, 13 KoF 2001. How is that not enough? Especially since you took like 4 seconds with each clip. I'd chalk it up to not wanting to put forth the effort, not lack of resources. Also, the transition for Mr. Rogers was too early. C'mon now, give it another go.

Toffee, you win for having an awesome name, and pretty good artistic sense for your age. Keep up the good work, yo.
