I used to do that, but then I decided looking up anything I knew I had and needed at the time was too difficult. So I've implemented a cataloguing and indexing system for all my images and gifs. Well, images are split between categorised folders, while gifs are all thrown into one big folder. Difference is, I take the time to rename my gifs when saving them to a set of tags and key words that later on make it so much easier to find them. I want a gif with cats? No problem, just type "cat" into the search bar. Need a reaction gif? Just type "reaction". Easy and clean.
