Welcome to the Literature Contest's voting thread. Most of our participants will be found in the Entry Thread. Voting rules are simple.

1. The voting period will last 2 weeks, concluding on November 3rd.
2. Simply post the name of the person you wish to vote for. Feel free to add feedback to your post(s).
3. Each person gets 1 vote. If it becomes unclear who you're voting for, feel free to PM me.
4. NO CHEATING: Things like copying a work that wasn't your own, or creating alternative accounts to boost your votes, will lead to disqualification.

Any more questions, I'll gladly answer anyone's PM.

So voting's open, yes? Thank god for the word limit, wouldn't have made it through the list without. I vote for Tuor's, mostly for being short and to the point, and containing delightfully varied, interesting language.

Well, now that Veggy broke the ice and I consider it impolite to vote for myself, I vote for Thy_Obsessive_Freak's story, mostly for being the story I held onto most fervently until the very end. It had me begging for closure.

Took a couple of days to get around to reading everything, so don't be surprised if until the last days of the voting period people are still voting. 8)

I like Asinerta's. It's a cute story for the theme, with a nice little happy ending. Not saying the others were bad for having less positive endings, mind you.

I'll readily admit I'm probably biased against the ones with happy endings.

Being the Halloween moody, happy endings tend to be seen as childish. I'm biased for them tho :3

I have to vote for Thy_Obsessive_Freak as well, although there are other stories that I also found very great and was hard for me to choose between them.

Sheesh, plenty of people made entries, yet almost no one's voting here. Lazy bastards...

I agree with the Halloween discussion of "happy" Halloween stories. I got Christmas for all that mushy stuff.

And Blordy votes for Blood Lord.

Did Blood lord just vote for himself or am I misreading? :| Ah well doesn't matter, I vote for Blood Lord's as well, what with the suspense, use of words and so on.
Anyone want ta take look at my own comic?

Nope, he totally did
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

I'll pull a BL and vote for myself.

Am I the only one who thinks that's kind of a boring "Every man for themselves" way of doing it, not to mention it will either lead to a hilarious tie or a hilarious one sided victory due to everyone voting for themselves except like two guys. Reminds me of that one scene in Pirates.

Oh well. We only have like- what, a DAY? Maybe two? I think I'll keep my vote the same. I never intended to win anyway. What would I do with a gift card? lol

So what's the vote count so far? Kinda figured I wouldn't get any votes. I was kinda the only one to go for a simple rhyme.
