It seems to be a little fast as far as events go, but that's probably due to the fact that the watchers are only BlazBlue players. The episode itself in general is great though.

Well, it's not like they won't come back to it. Most likely they're working on completing Kill La Kill before getting to making the second part to it, since there was such love and fan funding for it to continue.

Ha ha! I knew there was an anime thread somewhere!

Sup folks?

I just marathoned Ore no Imouto.

What a ride.    Ending was real BLEH but what a ride.    Kuroneko will always be my favorite....

I saw infinite stratos before Ore no Imouto and that one was also good as well, even had a decent amount of action in it. Laura was my favorite of those girls.

SO! I am now looking for another "harem" type anime that breaks or at least bends the stereotypes (like the aforementioned 2 kinda did) and preferably one with less    incestual undertones and overtones. No incest please.

School Days
Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai
Clannad
Little Busters (hmm, sort of a harem)
Fruits Basket
Amagami SS (different take on harems)
Sword Art Online
Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai (another different take, sort of)
Zero no Tsukaima
Kiniro no Corda: Primo Passo

This is all I can come up with right now.
Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate would probably classify as one as well, but didn't list it originally (Personally didn't like the ending, but that's just me being biased towards another of the characters).
Same with Amnesia (a reverse harem), although I didn't finish that one. It just ended up being so annoying...:x
Starry Sky (another reverse harem) was interesting (and shorter than average episode length) but I never got around to finishing the series.
Arcana Famiglia (another reverse harem) was just OK. I went in expecting something and was slightly disappointed, but that's more my fault than anything.

Wow.

Large amount of choices. Damn you're thorough.

I'm considering Sword Art Online as I have heard decent things about it, and the concept looks interesting.

Sukunai doesn't look bad either.

I keep seeing School Days being thrown around. I just don't see what people see in such a boring show.

Hey! All I've had was my phone for the past 2 days, so you can blame it me being too lazy :p
Also, not the biggest harem fan. Damn it...I feel like making a longer responce now...

But I'm so lazy...
To Aru Majutsu no Index is pretty good. One of the few harems I've seen where each character has their own lives to worry about, rather than stalking the MC. Course I also hate the MC... >.>

Highschool of the Dead is also popular, I don't like it too much, but watching the first episode pretty much sums up what you'd be in for. Ecchi, gore and more.

If you're fine with a good read(average artwork) Ai Kora is still my top harem.

I never understand the logic harems employ. The MC is almost always an indecisive bag of boredom with a conic case of no personality. I don't get why he is the only one with a strong determination to not fuck every big boobed (and that one loli, because of course there is.) that throws themselves at them.

They become by the numbers, almost everyone has similar arcs and character progression. With each character introduced with the promise of some growth and emotional baggage only for one or two episodes to focus on them then it goes back to captain monotonous (the MC) and the chick we all know he'll "end up" with (these shows are always to scared to go all the way) since she's always in the front of the rest in the promo art. (Which never shows a dude, so you think it may be something different, the BAM, description of the show comes up and the first lines are always: "So and so is a normal highschool boy who ca-" then I stop reading.)

The biggest insult is we're expected to project onto the MC since he's meant to be the Everyman. Only he isn't, he's some high functioning autistic with the amazing ability to stumble in on girls whilst they are changing. It's always self insert fanfiction on the authors part, you know that right.

At least they seem to be fading out yanderes more and more. That or I've been very lucky with my random choices.

To Aru Majutsu no Index
Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai
Yosuga no Sora

There's a difference between the majority vs all. These are the few off the top of my head. In order of preference.

Edit:
Clannad also did something I liked, they had bonus episodes to show worlds where the MC ends up with different girls. AND it was tasteful.

Then there's Kimi no Iru Machi, recent anime. I'm up to date with the manga.
Harem, ecchi, dumbass MC. Anyone that's read can still say that it's a quality harem that does more than throw stupidity at the reader.

I remember Clannad had the balls to actually pair the main dude off with someone in the end, instead of leaving it sorta open, then it had that after story OVA. So props to that show for actually going all the way.

I cannot think of any other that does that.

Forgot to mention that my list wasn't in any particular order.

Hmm, I didn't really have much of a problem with it when it aired. Though I'll admit that I was probably so excited about which ending they were going to go with that I made it out to be better than it actually was.

I forgot about this one. Did the anime do a decent job? At least a better one than the OVAs?

Harem endings are quite annoying. Clannad isn't the only one, I can list some in a couple hours from now. I have a half day :3

I haven't watched the anime yet. I was going to wait until Rin gets introduced.

The endings the best part about that snorefest. I'm happy that I wasn't the only one who thought the shit MC was a prick. Turns out everyone that was involved with the show was in on it. You were supposed to think that anyway. The ending cheered me up immensely.

It seems in these kind of shows everyone seems almost enamoured with the MC. It don't get it. But School Day's did something right and    Killed the bastard

Still think you should look at the first 3. They don't break away completely from the details you mentioned, but they all break away from parts.

I saw them. I've seen a shit load of anime. That's why I'm a bit jaded about them. Consider me spoilt.

Anime's I loved when I started watching anime now seem mediocre or have diminished value.

No, I do own a lot of manga, but that ain't one of em. And I don't read online if I can avoid it since it just don't like looking intently at a still screen much.

I also much prefer the weight and feel of a book.

Clannad series
Bo-bo-bo
Angel Beats
Dongan Ronpa
Kaichou wa Maid-Sama (this was actually a very pleasant anime)
The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni series
Umineko no Naku Koro ni
Rumbling Hearts

This is what I can come up with as far a recommendations go. If you look into Rumbling Hearts prepare for some mighty feels.
