I never understand the logic harems employ. The MC is almost always an indecisive bag of boredom with a conic case of no personality. I don't get why he is the only one with a strong determination to not fuck every big boobed (and that one
i, because of course there is.) that throws themselves at them.
They become by the numbers, almost everyone has similar arcs and character progression. With each character introduced with the promise of some growth and emotional baggage only for one or two episodes to focus on them then it goes back to captain monotonous (the MC) and the chick we all know he'll "end up" with (these shows are always to scared to go all the way) since she's always in the front of the rest in the promo art. (Which never shows a dude, so you think it may be something different, the BAM, description of the show comes up and the first lines are always: "So and so is a normal highschool boy who ca-" then I stop reading.)
The biggest insult is we're expected to project onto the MC since he's meant to be the Everyman. Only he isn't, he's some high functioning autistic with the amazing ability to stumble in on girls whilst they are changing. It's always self insert fanfiction on the authors part, you know that right.
At least they seem to be fading out yanderes more and more. That or I've been very lucky with my random choices.
