Waitin for the 1st?
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

Mhm. Well, I'll probably get to it by the second because we are starting potato harvest tomorrow, but yeah. I've had it picked out for two or three months. Better check to make sure its still there...

Finally picked up Sly 4. It was just 20 bucks, and it feels pretty fresh with the new art style and getting to play as different coopers. And they brought back the world exploration option to just let you roam around after you've finished a place, which I missed a lot in 3. The costumes you get for various other powers are pretty cool too. So far I'd recommend it if you're a Sly fan.

I never liked Sly. I was always a Jak and Daxter player.

Didn't get into Sly the games until I think early this year. Played the first one and felt like a total nostalgia trip like the first time I played Jak&Daxter.

I've played the 1st Jak and Daxter game the 1st year it came out. I've probably beaten it 5-6 times. Strangely, I've never played the other games from the series.
Always wanted to play a Sly game, though.

If you loved Jak&Daxter, I recommend it highly. The first one I'd say was the most challenging.

I'm thinking Little big Planet Vita, Mod Nation Racers, BlazBlue CS 2 Dongan Ronpa when it releases in America.

Well I've played both little big planet and BB CS extended. I can say they are good on Vita. The 2D games are almost exactly like they are on console. Like Rayman Legends is indistinguishable from it's Xbox version.

If the Shantae games were available on Vita, it would be my favorite handheld console

I'd actually be more partial to a Twisted Metal game or a Metal Gear Solid game. Oh my god I can't wait for MGS5 though.

Well you can get MGS 1 on the Vita via PS store and you can get the HD collection and peace walker.

MGS 5 seems to be on a dodgy slope. Regenerating health, slo-mo take downs, re-dos on getting spotted, I'd dare say it's being dumbed down for the clammy mouthed masses.

MGS1 though? Really? I didn't knot that one.

As for MGS5 though, I can't say I have seen that being mentioned. When did they allow re-do's?

Just look it up and weep. When you get spotted the game will go all slow-mo. And I think you can take out the guard that spotted you or get into cover and make the guard think he's only seeing things.

I donno. Hideo Kojima is stroking a real, realism boner right now. Giving how he operates, he would want the game to be played the way he intends it.

I still can't believe David Hayter ain't voicing Snake. I mean Kojima could be pulling one of he classic trolling tricks, but I'm worried all the same.

Well I do have my faith in him. Now this faith in him can be destroyed, but he's made plenty of these MGS games and most of them playing out very well in the game industry so I will see how this one turns out. Who knows, maybe he doesn't know what he's doing and he'll need to wise up the next time around. Only time can tell.

I don't know why, but I've been buying games left and right these past few months. Just picked up Muramasa: The Demon Blade for the Wii. Heard it was good and have been wanting it for ages. Was like 10 bucks, so I couldn't resist.

But now I'm like on a string with cash until Thursday... CURSE YOU GAMING!!!
