An apology

Postby Thomas » Wed Aug 21, 2013 7:37 pm

Some time ago when I first redesign the forum, I know I might have been very rude and/or difficult to work with.

My personal issues haven't really improved, I sorta just decide got'a get my mind together and stop being a butt (or at least try).

Please excuse future me is I act strange again.

It would be easier if you didn't.
For new people, but also for me since I would appreciate if you stuck with Thomas (and or anything close to that)

I could swear he called he called you Torn.
I just love how people put commas, in places they so obviously, do not belong.

I don't know about you, but I love the Young Justice animated series.
So I became the 44,901st signer of this petition to bring the series back.

I don't mind watching you rant a little from time to time. It brings back memories.

You don't need to feel to sorry about anything. You don't get paid for this, you do it out of your own free will and you sacrifice your leisure time for this. If you feel irritated then it's up to the people for whom you do the favor to avoid irritating you.

Doing hard work with no pay, and people asking trivial shit, like why they can't refer to you by your old username would get many people frustrated. Just because some people wouldn't blow a casket, does not make you a "butt" for getting angry, and even if it does in some peoples eyes, it's better than being a doormat. Different people have different thresholds for annoyance. You're the person with the knowledge, time and will to fix this site, so if people can't pay you, they should at least avoid stepping on your toes.

That might be true.
But I should also act more professional since I didn't just change my name cause I wanted to, but cause it's the name I go by when I do work.
I'm currently in the process of creating my own company, so I need to act professional where I work.

Well, as a professional you'll have the added incentive of being paid money to overcome irritation, should it arise.

But if you want to treat this as training for when your company starts up, then fair enough. I wish you good luck, with both your efforts here and with your company.
