hmm?
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

Tuor, your avi reminds me of an album cover from Tool.

Oh crap it is! "1000 Days". The only album I've heard of them is Lateralus, but a song I do like in their 1st album is Sober. Damn depressing but a strong song.

Lateralus was the first album of their's listened to as well. Their earlier stuff is good too, but it tends to be quite raw and emotional. Lateralus is more technical and nifty sounding. 10,000 Days is not as good, but it's still decent.

I think what got everyone's attention towards the band was Schism. Song was pretty catchy, and won an award or two.
I like Lateralus, but I feel as though the album is a bit too long. Maybe it's just me, but almost all the songs are pretty long. Maybe it is just me.

A lot of the songs are longer than most mainstream tracks, ya. Totally worth it though. Watch the music video for schism.

That's what I love about most music videos: the use of creativity to bring the song to the seeing eye. It just gives you chills, like bringing sound to sight. Such an example:

Tuor's icon reminded me of the olmec head from that Nickelodeon Indina Jones game show.

I really don't like Tool, their songs are so boring. Like really, really boring. From what I've heard anyway.

I haven't listened to Tool since... This morning when Schism was on the radio.

Hearsay seems like a silly reason to dislike something. Unless you're saying that from the bits you've heard it's boring, in which case I'd like to know what you've heard, because I think they have some songs that are quite technically nifty.

I honestly can't remember, I just heard a few of their songs on the music channel and some really weird music videos.

I've lost faith it comes with living in Britain.

But on a better note. PONIES on Xbox. Like gamer pics and themes and stuff.

Well that's... different. Do they do that sort of thing? Like, are other cartoon characters icons too, or this a special thing that hasn't been done before? I'm not much of an xbox online person...

Remember, I'm a big fan :U I'm just curious if it's been done for fans of other cartoons. Like, are there FLCL icons? Adventure Time? Spongebob? (you know there'd be people who'd want a Squidward icon...)

And that's only a personal opinion, both it being positive or negative. It's just a thing that happened.
