Mind if I ask why you decided to have Blossom's hair cut short?

Sure, that's a legitimate question.

When it comes to very active and athletic characters (or in this case superheroes) I always saw long hair as something that might get in the way.
I know that there are a lot of superheroines who have long hair, and by a lot I mean almost all of them, but I wanted to give Blossom a hair cut just for the reason that I think it makes more sense to have shorter hair. I don't dislike long hair and it hard for me to picture most of these same heroines with short hair, but I can with Blossom.

The backstory for it in my head was that she was tired of it always getting caught on something and having to spend a lot of time getting untangled and cleaning the debris from her last fight out of it so one day she figured she just cut the damn thing and not have to deal with it anymore. Its something that changed about her as she grew up.
I knew a few girls growing up who use to have long hair, but got sick of it and decided to cut it, but that's not what inspired the hair cut though.

Also, I think she looks cool with shoulder length hair, I think it makes her look rather mature and no non-sense, but at the same time a little laid back.

Nice to see that you can back up your decisions. Some people have trouble with that.

I may not be uploading any new comic pages for a little bit.
I have some... demons I need to rid myself of.
Hopefully my mind will be more clear once I am finished.

Its okay, I guess I deserve that. That was a derp moment for me. I just don't usually share this kind of stuff with people. Thank you for the comment though.

Rabbits, dolls and toys.

This is an entry for a contest that is going on. I don't expect to win and I frankly highly doubt that I will, but I just like to enter these things.

Just curious, but can you explain how your entry relates to the theme of "Summertime Activities"? I assume, guessing by the swing, that your picture has something to do with how nightmarish creatures celebrate summer? But that's just my guess, and even then, it's sorta a stretch. o3o

In any case, if that's what you're going for, the concept could be interesting, though I think you'd need to find a way to convey the feeling of summertime a bit better.

Sigh, I suck at this kind of thing.
(by which I mean trying to convey something in an usual way)

Okay, you were right about the swing, and then there's the rabbits and the butterfly which reminds me of summer. And I wanted to look like they were having fun. The title is also suppose to give the impression of a sort of parade. Judging by your comment, I assume I failed to give the proper impression for what was meant to be a silly and fun drawing of these things having an impromptu parade.

I should have made a background for this one. Maybe something outside with the sun and the grass, but my backgrounds still aren't all that great, but that's not an excuse...

If you want me too I'll just drop out and you all can just remove it or I'll delete my entry in the vote thread. I doubt I was going to win anyways and just entering for fun. Sorry if this wasn't good enough.

Oh no, I'm not saying you should drop out or anything like that at all. I just wanted some clarification about what you were going with on this entry, since I had the feeling that there was something in the picture I wasn't quite getting, though the swing was one of the things that stuck out to me the most as relating to summer for some reason. XD

In any case, it's still pretty early into the contest. I'm sure you can work on your entry some more to add those things to really help convey that "summer nightmare parade" you're going with. You can take your time, the contest lasts all month, after all. Don't give up on your entry just yet. :3

I think of Silent Hill when I see these. Or rather, that these creatures wouldn't be out of place in that game.

I really like that last one. Adding a background gives off an eerie appearance, that enhances the horror bit of it so much. It's a good touch. I suck at backgrounds, but it seems you've really got them down, even with some fine details in there. Keep at it Mutt, love to see your work.

I'm glad that your "demons" are fictional. When I first read that post, I thought you might be having some real-life trouble.

These recent creatures of yours remind me of a website I found recently called the SCP Foundation. It is a wiki set in a fictional universe filled with horrifying artifacts and monsters. The Trapped One makes me think of SCP-076.
