Don't worry, dude. We all go through those dreadful days of being beginners, such as myself!
Also, the name's Randori. Pleasure to meet cha.
As I saw the creature, I was as white as an egg. I was so scared I might crack from fear. As the humanoid began to lunge after me, I was walking on egg shells from how scared I was. It grabbed me, took me to its station, and cracked me open. The last thing I saw were my yellow insides cooked on a pan. Human nature is as evil as a rotten egg.

Oh, hey, Slip
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

I got that awkward feeling when you think you should be excited when a old member returns, but you don't really care that much yourself. But it's nice to know about older members returning.

Just finished quite a good book, if I do say so myself. If court intrigue set in an alternate Tang Dynasty-eque setting seems up your alley, give Under Heaven by Guy Gavriel Kay a try. I was pleasantly surprised!

My idea was new! It was based off a dream of mine but it's still new.

No. My dream was me and a handful of my friends were sitting in the back yard, talking about different random topics, when the Goddess appeared and sent us on epic quests through different realms, only to return to our realm and go on a bigger quest.

I find it very hard to believe you recall your dream that well

Also, your idea is not new, everything is a remix

My dreams are never really linear. They are rather random, like one momment I'm hopping on ice bergs then next thing I know I'm a jedi knight battling monsters.
