Srry, Mir :c
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

Not necessarily.

Xbox One is requires the Xbox Live. And that's supported only in 21 countries. And is not really spreading around so fast.

And judging by twitter replies from xbox guys they're responding to inquiries about that topic with magnificent disinterest. Kind of like "uh yeah next year maybe. Or maybe not who knows".

Been watching Extra Credit videos a lot lately for some insight in a few things game-wise. It's been very helpful in giving me some answers I've been looking for to actually get into making games and to do it right.

MIRAK! When you get back on have you ever heard of them, or have your own advice?

@Tuor: But are you looking forward to any games? I see people saying "oh well, i'll have to get a ps4/wiiu", but you guys do you you don't have to get anything, right?

@Pabst: I learned that online teamwork almost always fails. And that in order to make a game i needed to know how to do everything myself. Code, graphics, music, sound. So i did, and i still do. C:

Been meaning to put into motion making an 8-bit horror game of some sort. Something to start off with with an idea that I've had for a few years.

What did you use to learn code yourself? I sort of stopped trying to learn after my linux laptop I used to fiddle with every now and then fizzled out.

First i used game maker and didn't code at all. Then i learned GameMaker's programming language (gml), which is mostly composed of pseudo-code, thus the transition from it to other languages is easy. However besides from that i don't know any programming language of worth like say, c++ or java. When i need something in those languages i get some local colleagues to help.

It might be interesting to look up Corona SDK. Its a game engine for mobile apps, which uses LUA, a really easy to learn programming language. Its very similar to JavaScript and ActionScript. It's limited to 2D, 2.5D though.

The only XBOne exclusive that had my attention was Titanfall. But that will also be on PC and will be on PS4 the following year. I came out of E3 most excited over Watch Dogs, The Division, Thief and Infamous Second Son.

Bob won the Vezina. Dammit, Ed Snider you're so afraid of dying that you trade away one of the best goalie prospects because you had to go and overpay for an "elite" goalie.

I finally found out where that head exploding gif comes from!

The movie Scanners, from 1981.

My life is now complete, knowing where it comes from and what the context surrounding it is.

I'm pretty sure I'll get a PS4, if only because my future housemates are wanting one, and can throw in on it. I'm probably putting my money into a gaming PC, though, so we'll see.

PS4 certainly seems like a better idea then a Xbox One, anyways.
