Japanese artists doing fan-art of western cartoons, isn't really mindblowing to me. I've known such artists exist for about 8 years now. And this guy isn't especially noteworthy.

What many speculate to be Gainax's Yoshinari Yoh's pixiv account (it's unconfirmed since the account uses a pen name, but it's almost certainly his) has fan-art of western characters, too:

http://www.pixiv.net/member_illust.php? ... id=2366797

Do these links work without a pixiv account? I don't want to log-out there, since their cookies are buggy and I don't want to have to log-in each time I visit for the next few days.

Well that was mean.
As I saw the creature, I was as white as an egg. I was so scared I might crack from fear. As the humanoid began to lunge after me, I was walking on egg shells from how scared I was. It grabbed me, took me to its station, and cracked me open. The last thing I saw were my yellow insides cooked on a pan. Human nature is as evil as a rotten egg.

eggy it's fine to tell people that no one likes them in jest

it's fine to say anything in jest. that was well timed.

i would've simply said it, though, rather than link to some red v blue

we all know everyone loves me anyway

Long story short, was at a mate's place having some drinks and someone may have accidentally knocked me down some stairs. Was going head first and put anything I could between the ground and my head. Fun times.

And I like Grey.

Ouch, falling off stairs, that could've ended way worse than just fracturing your collarbone. I wish you good health, or rather you getting healthier, soon, Yoshi.

Isn't Brax already drawing a fan art of you Grey, as well as us?

Yeah, that's not finished yet, but I recall Brax4 picked Grey as one of the first.

"This is the End" looks like it will be pretty funny, and "Kick Ass 2" looks like it'll be good
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

I'm very excited for the man of steel. My guess about krypton is that it's gonna be ravaged by war rather than blowing up for no apparent reason other than the sun blowing up. Thats the only reason why I think general Zod will show up. He's not gonna get stuck in the phantom zone like in superman 2 the way i see it.

I'm looking forward to the Man of Steel. It looks good.

I want to see "This is the End" as well. It looks great.

I can't think of anymore movies that are coming out at the moment.

All those movies you guys included I'm excited for as well. As blord said, those are possibly the only Summer movies I'm probably interested in.

While we are talking about Summer movies, Pacific Rim seems like my kind of movie. Giant tokusatsu-style robots fighting giant monsters called "Kaiju". Iam planning to see that!!
