Probably one of your best works to date, in my opinion at least.
Good to see an OC, I'd like to see some development of their stories.

That was an impressive work of art you did Mutt. Very melancholy. Nice job.

To Randori and Brax4:

Thank you both for the comments. I have some place to do some more original work in the future now that I finished my fan comic for now.

Derpy vs Video Games - Cover:
Image

Go get 'em Derpy.

If there's one thing I would like to draw more of its video game related art. This is an attempt at me scratching that itch.
The story of the comic is Derpy jumping through several video game references as she tries to save her daughter from aliens.

Yes she's parodying Duke Nukem.

Yes, that's Soldier from TF2 in the third panel of this next page. I wish that I had made it more obvious that it was him though.

I would be more apt to read this comic if I liked MLP. >.<
From what I scanned, looks good.

I like it, I really like dark stuff. I'm impressed you can complete full colored drawings. I suck at drawing up backgrounds of any sort.

I wanted to try out a new style and I decided to draw up some original characters:

Image

Who these people are:

Zoey: The young lady in the center with the brown hair, ponytail and blue eyes.
Zoey is 26 years old and she's a single parent. She has managed to give herself and her daughter Lina a decient life and she's a pretty good mom even if she does make a few mistakes from time to time. When she has time off of work, she likes to relax and play video games with her daughter or go visit her neighbors.

Lina: The brown haired girl with the red bow in her hair next to Zoey.
Lina is Zoey's 8-year-old daughter whose dead beat dad doesn't pay child support and rarely ever shows his face. Lina is an average little girl, she's energetic silly and has glowing red eyes and can do other supernatural things. When Zoey isn't working Lina is baby sat by her neighbors Recker and Randy who are also old friends of Zoey.

Greg: The big demon guy in the back.
That's Lina's dead beat dad. Zoey has completely forgotten what she ever saw in the guy and they don't really get along any more. Zoey just wishes that the bastard would spend a little time with their daughter, but Greg is a pathetic piece of shit.

Recker: The guy in the pink hoodie with black hair.
Recker knew Zoey and Randy back when they were in school together. Recker and his roommate Randy split the rent and live next door to Zoey and her daughter. Recker often baby sits for Zoey which lead to unspeakable horrifying things happening inside his house, but he's gotten use to it. Lina like to visit them.

Randy: The blonde guy with the blue hat and funky arms.
Randy is Recker's roommate. He is over confident, loud and obnoxious, this often leads to him getting in trouble with everything around him. Lina seems to find it really funny when some freakish creature from another dimension decides to beat the living daylights out of him.

Sir James: The creature with the one big gaping eye and the one spiral eye.
An accient creature of evil who love to drink tea.

Cali: The black haired girl with creature arms and legs and the glowing red eye.
A creepy girl who is some sort of monster that lives in an old house.

Charlie: The floating thing with black hair.
She comes and goes as she pleases. But just what IS she?

Zoey and Recker are my favorites of that group. I like this a lot, maybe even my favorite drawing from you. I like OCs and those ones seem to have a lot of personality. I like the style, but it still reminds me too much of your other one.

If I can throw in a bit of criticism, watch the posing of your feet, not sure if this is intentional, but all of your characters appear as though they are floating, in nearly every picture I've seen.

Don't take that as a mean comment or anything, just something I noticed. If you meant to do that, well then, I shall be in the wrong.

Thanks for the comments Brax4 and a little bit of friendly criticism is fine with me and I don't mind it. There's still much I want to work on.
This is mainly me trying out something a little different and testing the waters so any opinion of it is welcomed.

I appreciate that you like these characters and out of all of them my favorite is Zoey as well. I come from a single parent family myself which might have had a little hand in the inspiration of her character. The others personalities came naturally and I tried to have fun with all of them and make them as different as they were visually.

Powerpuff Girls: Age 13

I wanted to try something just a little bit different with the girls this time. I wanted them to look more like kids this time and I messed around with their outfits some. I also wanted them to look more upbeat, with the slight exception for Buttercup.
Also, Bubbles is showing off.
I gave Blossom a hat for this one. I think it looks good on her.

Awesome. I like your style Mad-Mutt. The colours, style the eyes and choice of fan art and so on. But could I say one thing that I have iffy is those lines you draw for the clothes folds. They're more distracting then they are doing a favour for me. I just wanted to get that out. But at least I've noticed you slowly working on them. But besides that awesome. Also only just noticed now that the shadows are great to.
Anyone want ta take look at my own comic?

The art's quite modest, but I'm told the story's fun.
