Anyone want to say hi to my friend, thy Obsessive Freak? And yes I could certainly do more practice with drawing Top hats and Obsessive Freak's mouth, but heck practice.

Thanks, glad for some support Braxi when the art works taking a lot of effort just to improve. Also wanted to post that I think I had some errors with some of the pictures. Have no idea why, but they're okay now when I re-uploaded them, but now there should be seven pages in the post above.

You've improved since I've last saw your stuff.
Something I am noticing is that you're characters are too small with there armor on.
Also I would suggest you look into your lighting.
The characters look abit too flat because your lighting is off.
I would look into the shine of metal and armor as well to get a better grasp of how to color armor.

Thanks Morpheus, your advice helps a lot. I was wondering what had been wrong with the eyes, especially Mizuka's until it was pointed out they were too close. Yes I did research and so on, but I didn't think it was the actually space that was making the big deal.
But yeah thanks again. Though I'll look into that.

Picture I'm using for the Art competition. It's basically a group of characters of one of the books (The Last hero returns) I'm writing all out enjoying the Summer weather having Summer fun. Hope this counts as a Summer activity, they're doing wrestling, do fashionable summer mischief and enjoying the sun weather... All except the masked woman.
Anyways, it has the boy of all solutions, the masked woman, the Greek hero, the perverted Satyr, the Charlatan, the wrestler, the Spartan girl and the mute. Bet no one can guess which one is which  I feel so smart.
Still working on my comic by the way, but I pit stopped to do this.

Right, can't believe it's taken longer than a month to finish this fight scene. Sigh, I also didn't manage to do the suggestions Morpheus offered because I kept forgetting, sorry. I'll try and give the shine a try to see if it makes the drawing better. For now, here's what I've done so far and the fight's just about done (Well it'll be the story that'll be carrying this.). Also to warn that there's a lot more fatigue in these drawings because action poses were just that difficult for me. Next time I have a fight scene, it's going to be a little shorter and sorry if I sound defensive, just anxious if I'm damaging the story  (The art as well, but the art's just practice, so damages there are expected to happen)

It's been difficult this month due to hay-fever allergies (I do have meds, but they run out fast in a family of 6), friends coming up for the week and the fight scene's just difficult... Not looking forward however when I'm back to structures and buildings...

As someone who's done superhero comics, I know how problematic fight scenes can be when you want to keep them interesting. I think you're doing pretty good though.

I've decided to post more frequently thanks to the supportiveness on this forums. I thought people would be a bit more prestigious to me starting a webcomic when I even didn't feel I was ready yet, even for a practice one. But I guess people aren't that shallow. Thank you all anyways. So yes, I've finally completed chapter 1... Now for another 7 chapters to go  ...Hope to get this finished by next year.
To note the last one wasn't rushed digitally, but it was rushed traditionally, which is why it may look really wonky. Was just getting distressed on how to wrap this chapter up.

And onto chapter 2!

Right, fixed an upload error up there that took me forever to notice related to the fun facts (So embarrassing  ) Anyways, before I get onto the next chapter another fun fact of stuff you'll want to know, but I just didn't have time to explain in the comic!

Man my art's been on fire for sometime now! I'm probably rushing it with this sudden belch of momentum. It could be due to no longer having to do the fight scene or some sort of eager beaver has struck me, I don't know, all I know is that I have a sudden charge of momentum. I'm hoping to hold onto it until Friday as with the rate I'm going I'll have another scene finished just like that.

Can't believe how fast I'm getting through this right now! This is one scene done in less than a week. The traditional drawing is almost half-way through the chapter.
Anyways I did almost hesitate as I thought up something very awful that happens to one of the characters at the end of the comic that almost seems cruel that it almost depressed me enough to hinder the pace... I won't be sharing it though until the end of comic
But this is turning into a very dark story. To my standards at least. I normally write the old fashion heroic stories where there is almost no consequence or repercussions at the end or such emotions or torture to my characters (I do torture to them, but I'm never this cruel). There will be light however and happiness, but yeah... This is bright as it gets. This here is more about what things were like before S*** went down, plus what's about to obviously follow in this chapter.

I'm really not sure how frequent I should post this comic. Just a little anxious that I might bother people with the continuous bumping on my thread, but at the same time it helps the layout of the comic or at least makes it easier... I'm sure a moderator will tell me off if it's getting annoying (Well I'll understand if the moderator tells me off)
Anyways, I have done roughly 50pages! Which is such an achievement to me as I didn't think I'd get this much done considering my previous pace was doing 2 (Occassionally 3) pages a week. But now I've suddenly gained the production to do 2 or 3 pages a day! How does that work.

I think Kunaga (that the name of the girl in the purple dress right) is kind of cute in the way she acts.

Agreed. The story's interesting, now that I've had the time to read it. I'm curious to see where you take all of this.

Huh... This gonna be a "She melted his heart" type story? Not that I have a problem with that, just curious.

Sooort of  . It's basically that way in Chapter 2. Trying to invent a love thing going on and I find the old fashion 'She melted his heart' the easiest form of love related fashion, which has a purpose to the overall story. Thanks again anyways Sigment.

This is getting interesting. I like how Kunaga comes off as being somewhat shy, but also extremely direct about her feelings for the prince. I'll be sure to keep reading.

EDIT: I was also wondering whether or not there was going to be a major focus on any one particular genre (as in a lot of action/romance/comedy/etc)? Or will it be an even mixture? I'm curious about what the theme and tone of the comic will be from here on out. If you don't wish to say for fear of spoiling too much, then I'll understand.
