And now I'm imagining Ip Man ice skating. Thanks Tuor for making me imagine silly things.

I haven't heard that version
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

But season 1 finale, with Flash doing what he did... It was amazing.

The Flash thing episode "Divided We Fall" was not a season 1 finale, it was a season 2 episode that aired just prior to the season 2 finale featuring older Terry McGinnis, "Epilogue".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Ju ... on_2:_2005

And pfft, you didn't like "Epilogue"? That was like my favorite JLU episode. Made Bruce trusting Terry make way more sense and it really showed how lonesome Bruce's life as Batman was. The dialogue was great, too. The scene between Batman (Bruce Wayne) and Ace, is one of the best in the series.

And I think people cherry pick what they remember of Batman Beyond and have nostalgia goggles for the series. The intro was great, 1st season was great and Return of the Joker was great, but all the rest was pretty bland. Once they ditched Derek Powers as main antagonist, most of post-first season stuff was boring. Batman Beyond just doesn't compare to Batman TAS or JL/JLU which were great from start to finish.

Wait, there's 3 season of Unlimited? Download I got had 2, guess I was lied to.
I had the Flash Speed Force episode has season 1 finale and the episode before season 2 finale was Superman beating the ever living crap outta Darkseid.

Yeah, when they removed Blight from the show it started going downhill. It was a decent show, but not all people think it was.

There's some arguing about JL/JLU season naming. Seasons 1 and 2 were ordered at the same time, so some count them as one season. If you've watched the one where Superman and Darkseid fight in Metropolis, Parademons attack Earth and Lex searches for the Anti-Life Equation (last episode) you've seen the entire series. Flash Speed Force was no season finale though, no matter which way you count. The guy who made your torrent screwed up.

Tomorrow is my relationship's 5th anniversary and i'm at a loss to what to do for her. :S
Usually i wouldn't worry with crap like this but i know her,a nd i know she'll give me something she made and she'll expect the same.

I think i'm going to download a bunch of karaoke songs of the ones she likes and make a disc using my voice.

Why not just ask her? It's less romantic, but at least you'll get her something she really wants. Plus, it shows her that you really care.

Because it's not about buying things. It's crafting and asking the other person about it is not only not romantic but also says a lot about what you know about your partner's tastes. I'm fairly sure she's making something silly for me, like a photo album or a collage or a picture dodecahedron, or something like that, because she more or less knows i like physical pictures.

But when it comes to her there are so many things she likes. Like food with faces on it, red things and my singing voice. The karaoke one is, surprisingly, less troublesome to make than any other stuff, but still.

Have a romantic-but-affordable dinner at a restaurant you both like. After eating, you can have someone bring a cake you made with your OWN HANDS that says "Happy 5th Anniversary ______"
Sounds good?
As I saw the creature, I was as white as an egg. I was so scared I might crack from fear. As the humanoid began to lunge after me, I was walking on egg shells from how scared I was. It grabbed me, took me to its station, and cracked me open. The last thing I saw were my yellow insides cooked on a pan. Human nature is as evil as a rotten egg.

How many songs would be acceptable..? I finished one just now but i don't want to fill a disc.. I wonder if 6 songs would be enough, it's like half of an average music disc's content no?

Idk if it's just me but every little thing that xbox devs say about it makes me feel like it's getting worse and worse and worse.

I can still remember when the Playstation 2 was unveiled and how exciting I was about it, how much of an improvement it was over the first Playstation in terms of gaming power.

None of the new consoles ever managed to give me that feeling of excitement.

The feeling of excitement isn't hitting me visually because I don't think this next gen is going to be much better than what is currently here, especially the first few years before optimization. What I'm really looking forward to is the possible upgrades to AI, Animation, draw distances, reduced pop in. Also, the new gen is good for PC gamers because the old hardware in consoles was undeniably holding back PC gaming to some extent.

All those "upgrades" in ai and animation and whatever the fuck will only make it harder for developers to make good games and more frequently.

not to mention huge increases in budget costs which in turns guarantees games that never cost below sixty bucks.

I actually think games will be easier to make because developers are moving away from creating their engines completely from the ground up. They're using other companies engines like Unreal and adding on to it, they're creating the base engine and adding things like Havok Physics or Speedtree, or publishers are creating an engine that will be used across all of their games.
