I feel that's a little one-sided Teran. I love cosplayers, and a lot of them do it just for fun. Show they like this or that. That is of course unless they're advertising something, then I can get it. But aside from that I don't get the hate at all.

Be curious, not judgemental. Seems strange to hate people for something just because you find it weird.
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

I found Bioshock Infinite a bit disappointing. Not as bad as Bioshock 2, but still... mehhh... thanks for the advice Tuor and Sefrol, I'll try not to be judgemental, it just frustrates me to see pretty girls who have the same interests as me, and yet, having no chance at all with them.

Frustration at the girls is one thing and a bit understandable in a misguided way, even though they have every right to have fun and express their love for something they like. Having issue with the guys that cosplay is stranger to me though

Just a bad experience back in 2008, where a guy went dressed as Trunks from Dragon Ball Z in his Saiyan outfit. Let's just say it was pretty obvious that the guy wasn't wearing any underwear. Oh... and the guys dressed as ponies... but yeah, you're right, if they have fun doing that, can't hate them for that.

Hey, as long as they can pull it off, I don't judge. Sometimes, I'm amazed how much work goes into a guy's Halo Spartan armor.

Don't get started with the furries...
As I saw the creature, I was as white as an egg. I was so scared I might crack from fear. As the humanoid began to lunge after me, I was walking on egg shells from how scared I was. It grabbed me, took me to its station, and cracked me open. The last thing I saw were my yellow insides cooked on a pan. Human nature is as evil as a rotten egg.

Not sure how to use the Youtube tag.

Take off the "=" and everything to the left, and it should work.

Thanks, finally managed to get it done. Yes, I'm misguided, a bit frustrated, will probably write something in the therapy thread soon, but yeah, can't hate cosplayers for doing something they consider fun.

I've seen that, and I was amazed. See, this is how creative some people can get with cosplays. They can go to some high quality stuff to just abstract. It's an art in itself if you're the one making the cosplays.

But, I do sort of agree that some places I would never tread... The "pony" pony cosplays, furry cosplays in general, crossdressing cosplays... I'm okay with other people doing that, and all power to them. I'm just not comfortable with the idea of doing it myself. Doesn't mean they can't be good either. Anyone remember Man Feye? Ah, memories...

Did have this one bad incident though with a man cosplaying as Sailor Moon once though. I'll spare details, because the image would be too frightful.

A man in a Sailor Moon cosplay... oh no, imagination kicking in... *shiver*.
But anyway, I love cosplays. Like Eagle said, it shows the creativite people go through to dress/act as their favorite character! Really want cosplay Booker DeWitt. I've even tried doing to voice and I'm pretty close. I even have a Vigor keychain to go with the outfit! Soon, though... soon

Thankfully, I've never been on a convention where a guy is dressed like a Sailor Moon. The closest scenario would be when my friend lost a bet and was forced to dress like a woman. And it was kinda creepy, because he actually looked like one. Many persons who were behind him thought "she" was hot, until he finally revealed his identity.

I'd hope it would be. If they wouldn't be after the reveal, things would obviously get awkward.

At least I finally finished the rewrite to that abridged series script.

An abridged series? Sounds funny. What are you doing a parody on?

I mentioned this a while back, but I had to rewrite my entry for a Persona 4 The Animation script. I think I did a much better job.
