And the good lord sayeth: Come forth The Talk Thread XVIII!

This forum can be a scary place, 'cause we got lax rules: let's see your war face. Take a breath, and roll the dice, you might find out we're really nice.

I didn't see the harm in cutting off your topic.

Also I haven't seen any of the marvel movies so I have no opinion.

After the first x-men and spidey movies, only other marvel movie I've seen was the new spidey.

I don't think I know anyone who hasn't seen any of them

He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

I like it that he's joking around with his condition, but this doesn't look like a good show.

@Hiryu

Yeah, from what I can see about Krieg, I'm going to love him as well.

I always play high risk, high reward play styles, so his Mania tree sounds like its going to fit me to a T.

Mmm, I think Kings in 7, Hawks in 6, Rangers/Bruins tough to call...maybe Rangers in 7, Pens in 5 as much as my heart would like to see the upset

I'm thinking Ottawa is going to show even more faults in Pittsburgh's game, I think as proud as Detroit is this isn't their year and Chicago swept them in the season series, the Rangers and Bruins is going to be about who can get their guys scoring more regularly and if not it's going to be just grinding and goaltending, I think the Sharks are going to come in hot and they split the season series but I don't have tons of faith in the Kings outside of Quick.

I'm hoping Sens can give them some problems and Anderson can steal them a game or two, but the Pens are too deep I think. The Hawks are favourites in the west but can never count the wings out, although I'd be surprised if they won the series. I agree with your assesment of the rangers/bruins series.
