I bought L.A Noire on steam so I can call people liars and touch various things.

True. Any sense of "free will" they feed you leads down the same path.
3 discs for xbox and you feel like you're watching a movie rather than playing a game.
Driving sucks so I always let my partner do it.

It was $5

I'd love another Red Dead

Gotta agree with you, I'm also excited for Tavares to show a wider audience what he can do. In my heart, I'm hoping for an upset, but for my pool's sake, I'm hoping that doesn't happen, haha
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

LA Noire isn't the game where you do what you want, it's the game you do what the developers wanted. It becomes apparently clear in the last act.

I don't have a bandwagon in the east this year, I'm leaning Blues or Sharks in the west.

I actually really liked LA Noire, yeah, the choices you made didn't really change the outcome. The ending in my opinion was perfect, the only way it should have ended.

The only thing I hated about that game was the fact that they put you on the Black Dahlia case. I'm sorry, that shouldn't be put in there. SEMI-SPOILER? :    If they make it so the murderer got away, or you don't actually solve the case, I would have been okay with it.

By the way. All the women in the game have the same facial structure. It's creepy.

I'm playing it because I find lots of moments funny.
I didn't get to finish it either because I borrowed a copy.

Ya, other than Hawks I'm also leaning towards those two, Sharks more than Blues though, because even if they beat the Kings I gotta imagine the Blue are gonna be beat up

I wasn't a big fan of IV's more serious route, but the new GTA is looking pretty good!

I felt as though it had funny parts in it, but it took itself too seriously on gameplay, either that or I'm just used to Saints Row gameplay. I felt as though the cars controlled like a normal car, which makes it really hard to make turns and complete timed missions. I never finished it...

Same here, I just got bored with it after a while

The Ballad of Gay Tony was excellent though, that felt like a proper GTA game

For me, going serious for 4 was what needed to be done. I couldn't imagine if they tried to out do San Andreas in overall insanity. It would have turned out to be Saint's Row or it would have been ripped into for failing to outdo it, by not trying they side stepped most of it except for those people who wanted it to be San Andreas.

I did love San Andreas, but I also liked III and Vice City. For some reason IV just couldn't hold me.

It was the best. I was pretty disappointed with the very basic cheats in GTA4. Games stopped being as fun when barely any of them had cheats any more, and if they did they were pretty basic and neutered. I beat your game now I just want to blow everything up as an invincible god of death and destruction.

The only fun cheat in GTAIV was the helicopter. I would go to the tall buildings, spawn a fast car, and FFRREEFFAALLLL!!!

I'm sure there will be awesome stations. I like that they're going with 3 characters with distinct motives and I hope it comes across almost as a love letter to Tarantino and his crime movies. In much the same GTA3 was for the 70s through early 90s mafia movies, Vice City was for Scarface, San Andreas was for something like Boyz n the Hood and 4 was for more modern mafia movies.

Nothing surprises me, he was on Sleeping Dogs because they had an entire Warp station.
