He might've been referencing the fact that it's not just look through a scope and shoot steady. A target at any appreciable distance that needs a sniper rifle, when you're aimed correctly for the wind, temperature and other variables, your scope won't be anywhere near your target. If you looked through it you wouldn't seem them at all if you had it done right. In video games you just line up the crosshair and bang they're dead, but that's not the case in real life.

I don't think this will fade into history, Zenaku. It'll remain a stark reminder, because this was a huge amount of destruction on a yearly, memorable event.
