*whatever the answer is*
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

we were doing the line cleaning at my pub last night, so there was 2 pints of everything we sell going to waste, so me and the other staff there drank it all

also i rolled a joint and we smoked it in the garden, which was nice, because i never smoked with a joint at the pub before

HEY.

I got an issue.

My cat has been dragging dead birds into the house EVERY DAY.

It's starting to get a bit annoying, because once I see the feathers, I have to play hide and seek with a bird corpse that's sure to decompose.

Any advice?

Your cat is acting like a cat. He also thinks you suck at sustaining yourself, so it has taken the role of bringing food to you.

Oh wow. He's actually right, then.

SHIT.

So how do I show him that I'm perfectly fine? Pack on some pounds?

You cannot stop your cat from being a cat, but there are measures you can take to help the birds know where your cat is before it gets to them: Put a collar with a little bell on your cat. Make sure your cat is well fed.

Ah.

Thanks, Mirak.

I really thought it should stop when the bird showed up on my bed.

Your cat loves you and is concerned about you. You have a good cat.

Try to keep him indoors, make sure he's fed, make sure he sees you eat, maybe give him some treats while you eat, put a bell on him so you and the birds can hear him, also is the cat fixed?

A bit funny, considering that he's the one I found after a family abandoned him in some house.

I think so.

Not really. More often if I drink beer, but I didn't last night

i was hungover as fuck today at work and it was surprisingly busy. there was a period where i was left alone on the bar with the new girl doing the food service. we suddenly had a bit of a rush and i was serving like 4 or 5 different people at once, trying to make the drinks as quickly as i could and trying to keep track of who got to the bar in what order. as i was giving a man back his change, he put a fiver in my hand and said "I know as a bartender you probably deal with a lot of miserable bastards, but i just want you to know that there are people who can see that you're working as hard as you can and do appreciate it. you're doing fantastic under pressure and this is for you."

i nearly fuckin welled up, that's like the nicest thing any customer's ever said to me. put me in a good mood for the rest of the day.
