Elements of stories can still be present without screwing things up.

Like this Adventure Time thing.

I think many people would like if Simon and Marcy would appear. Also PPGD and GT are separated universes but they also can be alternate universes. That some elements of PPGD and GT are the same (like Blossom and Dexter's relationship) but still appear different. So there is hope to see something of Samurai Jack with Buttercup in the City of Aku

firstly it's butt
second how? jack's sword stop evil, that is why it was so powerful against aku. now put it against a young man who loves his family even if they don't all deserve it, protects the innocent (defenseless mimi), and is good in every way to a fault. i have trouble believing it could even draw blood.

I was hoping to pull of a restaurant effect. You know, leave for a while, go to the bathroom, flirt with an attractive waitress (if any are there) and you come back to your table and food is already there for you. Here though it would have been to attend with life and finals week of college and comeback with a new page update.

Anyways. Jack is already dead, or thus it is assumed so far that he fell with the rest of the City of Heroes when it was attacked by Him.

I have a feeling that Jack isn't dead yet, I think he and Buttercup survived. Aku always has been sitting at his throne sending minions out, he himself only fought a few times (well actually many times, but he often would let minions do the work for him).

And somehow I also have a feeling that Blossom is somehow alive, but that also could be me hoping it to be true. Dexter could also still be alive. And if Blossom, Dex, Jack and Buttercup are alive it would be unfair to say that Bubbles and Courage are dead...going into this way too much

we don't know which one's are dead and which ones are hiding, preparing to strike backe for revenge and ending the threat of Him's very existence.

Mimi has said "they're all dead now" on her facebook page in reference to Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup, Dexter, and Courage, and Him has a picture of himself killing all of them off. It's also said that all of the heroes on page 170 "fell one by one". There's too much evidence against them possibly still being alive.

Blossom is the exception because Demongo may have captured her essence, and considering she's the mother of Aku's daughter would be the only one Aku might care to keep around. Other than that possibility...no, they're all dead.

Probably from watching it happen, or from the pictures hanging in Him's office...and Mimi killed Blossom herself.

yes, but that does not necessarily mean they all are dead. Perhaps one or two unlikely heroes may be in hiding, or something else completely that is beyond our predictions.

It's said several times in both the comic and canonically-recognized media that they're all dead, quoted above. As previously mentioned, the likely possible exception is Blossom because of Demongo and Aku, but we know 100% nothing about the circumstances surrounding her involvement with Aku so even that could be a long shot.

I don't know, I'm still not convinced. Unless I see some rock solid evidence, I'm still going to assume that they're alive.
And besides, even if they where killed, how dead IS dead. I mean, Like I've said in the prediction thread, GT is heavily based around the afterlife. We could see anyone of them in soul form.

I'm assuming most are dead, at least all of the major ones and some heroes did escape with the civilians. But I already wrote my statement out in the Predictions thread.

Aren't we forgetting one very important fact? This story takes place in the Underworld. Death is not necessarily the end of a character. And since we now have a ghost prison as another realm (I'm assuming Danny Phantom-related, I never saw the show) it's quite possible that we may see a familiar hero or two. I wouldn't put it past Him to lock someone away to be certain they never get in his way.

That's exactly what I was getting at. But I hadn't even considered the Ghost Zone as a place to hold these "fallen" heroes. However, my guess is that most of them probably made it into heaven.

I think the only way to see those characters again is if Spawn visits Heaven in the comic for some reason. He's the only thing I can think of from hell, aside from satan that can actually visit Heaven.

I'm not quite sure of it either, I read the spawn wiki a bit after watching the Kratos vs Spawn death battle. It said a lot of stuff about a conflict between heaven and hell. And considering that the reedeemer, who seems to be the opposite of spawn, could visit the underworld that easily, I'm assuming Spawn can visit heaven as well.

Heaven, ghost zone, capturing souls in a jar. Their are hundreds of ways to survive death. Also God could send a champion to interfere with Him's plans. "When committing genocide, one always escapes" quote from the book Shadows Edge.

Boy, there are a lot of interesting discussion going on tonight. I just thought of something, if Him or walker decided to keep these souls (the ones of the Heroes). Wouldn't they have the Redeemer to deal with? I'm mean we saw the links he went to in order to get Minnie to heaven, and she didn't even want to go. So if the souls of these selfless heroes were being held prisoner, this would be right up his ally. And after all, he could probably kill Him, and walker for that manner.

Redeemer could get some help from any heroes who went to heaven. Should be a good selection to choose from.

P.S. is good Danny, not Danny Vlad mix, still around? If he is half ghost, would age kill him or just make him look like a old Japanese martial arts teacher?

The last time good Danny was seen was when Mandy and Grim saw each other at the Nasty Burger. that was where Grim was about to reap Coop.

It is entirely possible that Danny is still alive, and still at a younger age. I don't know how the fusion of the ghost DNA would effect the aging process.
