I think I'm not understanding something right here. From reading the article it seems they threw the NA publishers under the bus for not selling as much as the EU markets.
The company particularly points its finger at the North American market, claiming an "ineffective" sales force compared to Europe, where games performed two-thirds better.
But I have to wonder what were the numbers they were expecting to hit. Because Tomb Raider sold 3.4 million units in a month not including digital, especially what is traditionally been one worst months for video games and it's a failure. Hitman: Absolution sold 3.6 million which is 100,000 less than the best selling iteration of the series. Sleeping Dogs doing 1.75 million is not great but it was a new IP in a saturated genre.
