Oh, trust me, I had fun on my first walk through.

But being an asshole, even in games, is hard for me.

So I ended up doing the no kill thing.

On the hardest difficulty.

Which was frustrating.

Yeah, I'd totally play the game without killing anyone because that sure sounds fun.

Weren't you the guy complaining the other day that games are being made too easy? Because it doesn't sound any less fun than trying to play any false difficulty platformer without dying or speedrunning.

No, it was Senel that complained. I'm fine with the difficulty of the games.

It was about the whole Wii thing where the game would clear a level for you if you died too many times.
That's what I got mad at.

It'd clear the level for you but you wouldn't get any credit

But that way the person stops from trying to figure out ways to clear the levels.

But the game still wouldn't take the best way because it would pick the most straightforward route, but probably not the best for collecting points are actual good game strategy. Also, wasn't it completely optional, so what difference did the option actually make to you?

Not everyone is as stubborn as me and they eventually give in to the option.
It just irks me that something like that was added to a game.

Except most people probably won't use it or if they do they'll use it and then go back and try to develop a strategy based on the completed run, which honestly to me is about as bad as watching video of how to clear or reading a guide/FAQ.

You could also argue that having that feature in could allow for more challenging levels, and I really don't care about it, I don't use it.

Yeah, I can't remember any of the details, but there was a bit of a lull in his usual regular posting of strips.

TBH I never really read much of The League, from I've seen it actually looks alright.

I think so too. It sort of reminds me of the comics over at Dumm Comics where it's mostly just them doing their own shit, but arcs work themselves in here and there with actual story. Flowed pretty well to me until the guy started to come down with what most artists around here end up catching, not updating a week, then a month, then it's just gone until they think "Oh, right, I have a comic". Or something to that extent.

But to be fair, these people aren't entirely obligated to keep posting comics with how the management of comics is run around here. And some of them might actually have lives or issues at home that prevent them from continuing.

Honestly I think alot of comics should have endings.
Even if the point of the comic was joke of the day.
The reason artist and writers start to lag is because they're becoming uninterested with a subject which they've done to death.

In my experience, a factor in the life of story also tends to be attention.

Honestly, I've tried writing seriously (I never actually posted any of my serious work, and probably never will) and one of the things that really hamstrings a story is when nobody says anything.

I love harsh criticism, as long as it's constructive, but if I have none, I won't really feel compelled to continue.
