The whole stigma of sharks being vicious hunters who will eat anything is a misunderstanding of one of the cutest evolutionary traits for a creature like a shark to possess

They identify things by putting them in their mouths and then once they’ve figured it out they’ll just kind of let it go and of course they’ll respond with proportionate aggression if whatever they’re trying to figure out attempts to punish the shark for being a curious little critter but at the end of the day unless they’re actively hunting, they’re not really bloodthirsty so much as interested and well-meaning

Sharks are essentially giant floating toddlers that could tear you apart if they really wanted to. I love sharks
