Happy Birthday, Kurokage - 2012

A very quick drawing I did today to celebrate the birthday of my character, "Kurokage Shuriken."

I like how your style has evolved.
And that has to be the happiest snowman I've seen.

Gawww! That's great
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

Thanks, Morpheus. :3 On a serious note, I hear using baby proportions is a good way of creating cute characters. Round/soft shapes, big heads, big eyes, bean-bodies...stuff like that.

Thanks, Soulchild. Any particular reason why you weren't impressed, though? Is there anything you would have liked to have seen me do differently?

I tend to have higher than average hopes and expectations for artists of ur caliber.

also try doing characters in a full background. i noticed you lack that on dA.

I got lost and wandered into the Art section and was reminded of Hiroko's very nice gift to cheer me up. Thanks again, dear. And things have been going pretty fine for me ever since then, btw.

I learned what "hiroko" means today, a-tee-hee
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk.
