Your reasons are precisely the same as mine. With college in full swing now, all I have are essays and tests so I've been up to my neck in work. I try to find time for doodling, however I normally find myself playing my N64 with my roommates instead. Can't say it's a waste of my free time though, I suppose.

The N64 had some pretty great games.

Right? Who needs it.

@Fieval: It did, Bomberman is one of my childhood games, thought it may have been a hard game it was tons of fun. I have Golden Eye, Mario Kart, Super Smash and Mario 64. I still need a few more games but it's a good collection I think :)

I'm working on my collection D:

@Blood Lord: No close friends have showed any interest, but I've been posting it around Facebook. I have only done this about 3 times though, since I've been so preoccupied with school work. I often forget to advertise after I've fallen asleep soon after I finish it all.

I still wish I could have finished those games way back when when my friend still had them...

Speaking of Metal Gear I've just finished Peace Walker HD. The co-op really adds to it.

The only Metal Gear anything I've ever played was when Ape Escape 3 had that Metal Gear crossover mini-game in it.

I've never actually gotten to play any of the Metal Gear games except 1 for a short time over at a friend's place.

Wasn't Peace Walker a PSP game? If so it's interesting and nice they included it in the collection.

I'm not quite sure what Ape Escape is, but instantly thought of that Castle Runner or whatever the game is on phones where you have to outrun monkeys and get coins.

It's a game about playing a child who has to capture super intelligent child-sized apes who are trying to take over the world. I've been a fan of the series since the very beginning, and they've always been able to start from scratch with every engine between games to revamp gameplay. And they're the first series to utilize the dual sticks on the Playstation to the fullest.

As for the crossover, basically the professor who makes all of the equipment in all the games is called by Snake's boss for help saving Snake, which leads to a monkey Snake being made and 3 levels of Metal Gear style gameplay with bosses and everything.

I feel like I heard about this somewhere, this monkey Snake thing... I could be wrong, on the other hand. I'll have to take a look sometime soon though.

It really did the Metal Gear stealth well. It's in Ape Escape 3 if you're more curious.

Also, in both MG3S's they make a reference back to Ape Escape as an unlockable mask and a camo after a mini game to capturing the monkeys from Ape Escape. Apparently the whole thing was a joint project since MGS3 and AE3 came out at the same time.

I remember Ape Escape, I had the first and third ones. The MGS 3 crossover was called: Mesal gear solid.

Yup yup.

I really can't wait for the 4th title to come out. I know they sort of hinted at one at some point, but nothing else has been given about it since.

I think I recall a mini game where Big Boss had to chase down and capture some chimps in MGS3. That wouldn't happen to be a reference, would it?

I have yet to play a Metal Gear Solid game. I kind of want to, but I already have a lot of crap to play. Is it one of those series where you can start at any entry and be fine?

It would be better if you play from Metal Gear Solid 1 or 3. If you start at 2 or 4 you'll be thrown into a bad place. I do, on the other hand, have Paper Mario.

Good. Can't think of any other super awesome N64 games. Except Kirby 64.

Star Fox 64 is always fun. I'm pretty glad that it's also on the 3DS, since I don't have to plug in any consoles to play it now. It took me forever to get all the medals as a kid, but then again, everything took me forever as a kid. One of my files of Banjo-Kazooie has a time of 93 hours or so. I don't even know how I was that bad.

That's the same reason why it's not a high priority to get Ocarina of Time on my N64, since I have it on my 3DS as well. That and I've always preferred Majora's Mask more than OoT. I know on Pokemon Ruby version I had built up a time of 117 hours. Though you have to agree that getting every Pokemon up to gen 3 took a bit of time to achieve.

For Pokemon that amount of time is at least reasonable (though I never played any of the Gen 3 games, unless you count Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team). But one could easily beat Banjo-Kazooie and collect everything in the game within ten hours.
