Seriously, I will never understand that hatred. It's irrational to me.

I grew up moving around, and living in different countries, experiencing different cultures, and because of that, I never grew to understand how someone could hate another because race, religion, sexuality, or anything like that.

I mean, at one point, people are people, you know? We all bleed red, we all have a heart and a brain, so why pretend any different.

Even when I was a misanthrope, I hated EVERYONE equally, no one less, no one more. But to see someone treat another horribly for an insignificant reason like the ones stated above, it just doesn't make sense to me.

Could just be to convey the idea that they're cooking. Especially for little kids (as this comic seems to be aimed more at the younger age group), the clothes probably just make it easier for the kids to understand.
