I'm more hyped for Marathon 4 to be honest. But that's not to say I'm not interested. I was also impatient for what else Bungie had in store, so it's good to see something completely new from them. And I totally dig the story; I was getting tired of Halo, as much as I love it.
Bungie has done pretty well in the past, its the Activision part I don't like.
Stufflikehearts - He is a Sith Lord. I love Blood Lord :3 Jeffffey - Blood, you look at the information someone says, look over what really happened, and reply in a way that makes them realize what they were really thinking. Fievel - Numerous campaigns and conquests, countless bodies decaying after the abandonment of victorious battlefields. Such is the life of Blood Lord. Dusk_Imp - Blood Lord is like a celebrity here. Everything he does is pure awesome. ALL HAIL BLOOD LORD Doctress Who - Why couldn't there be a Blood Lord in every forum? It would make life so much easier. Snafu's Mercypostle. BSLD: FiMFiction Story Release - Chapter 2 (12/10/2013)
Yeah, same here. Especially since it is an MMO, I imagine Bungie would be fine with FTP, but Activision, I cannot see liking that. Bungie has always tried to be at the forefront of multiplayer games, so who knows how this might turn out.
"These are living, open worlds with evolving stories, changing time of day…and every one is full of players," says engineering lead Chris Butcher. "Destiny is an always online experience, but it's not an MMO."

This is a MMO, as much as Planetside 2 is one as well
I play Xbox and even I get this, but this thread is about Destiny, so...
I think it is much too early to make any calls for this game. They have shown very little gameplay(if any), so all these people that are saying it's going to fail have about as much evidence for that as those who think it'll be the next big hit.
It's so eerie though, just looking at the Destiny poster...looks a lot like the Marathon poster. Funny thing is I also found an easter egg which I was late on finding out showing that Destiny was actually planned a few years ago, when Halo 3: ODST was out.
