Speaking of party games, I hate Super Mario Party.

HATE THEM.

I am very excited for Bioshock Infinite. In my vidya hall of fame, the Bioshock series has a shrine built around it.

I'd just like to go ahead and say that I finished Batman: The Brave and the Bold recently. It was a fun game to play with friends.

How can you hate the Mario Party games?! They're awesome! Brings the friends and family together to compete on mini-games, getting the most stars, and who lands on those FUCKING BOWSER SPOTS... Still fun though

Repetition is what kills it for me. I hate when they just keep repeating the exact same thing, over, and over, and over, and over. I know this same thing will eventually kill my love for Halo, but it at least has a changing storyline.

Thank you! This is the reason I hate the Call of Duty series: it always has the same premise, and it's really overrated! Whether it takes place in the past, present, future, your still doing the same thing: shoot him, search and rescue, all that shit! Sure the story changes, there's new guns (big fuckin' whoop), still! And yet they they still get millions of sales...

Those sounds like probable reasons for the hatred of Super Mario Party.

But my hatred for Super Mario Party is more irrational.

I just hate the fact that you're left at the mercy of the RNG, and then you have to watch others luck out.

And that's why I buy them. Its when you have like four games that take place in WW2, that it gets old. But I have zero problem with climbing all over space rings, shooting stuff, or using a Barret 50 to kill someone from the other side of the map. Because when you get down to it, every genre of video games has the exact same concept.

Its like a sandwich shop. Sure everything in there is a sandwich and uses different bread, meat, cheese, a vegetable combinations but its still the same thing.

Mario Party is like ordering the exact sandwich every single time no matter where you go.

Mario Party is more like a joke than a sandwich. The first time you told it, it was funny. but since they've been telling it again and again and again, they're not gonna get any more laughs... Just people giving that nervous chuckle you'd give if someone said something embarrassing.

Holy crap! Can't believe Slender went from a creepy pasta to this! The game looks beautifully twisted, and rather than just showing the Slenderman we get to face other enemies! I'm really excited for this...!
