Mark forums as read, Go to new unread post, and Topic Search are two features that people rarely use because said people either don't know about them or have a crippling fear of having a better browsing experience.

I tend not to use those buttons because I only stick to three subforums and two of them have about 3 active topics a day.

Surprisingly, almost no one clicks on the FAQ button next to Rules and before Search, nor do they actually visit phpBB's General Forum FAQ, link to which appears when you accept the forum's norms when registering and shit (explains why no one visits the link).

And i only stick to three too, but as it turns out i'd like to see the "new posts" light turned off if the only new posts made are in the "what are you listening to" thread or any of their variants. This also helps me know when people finally posted in one of the empty forums (snafu, lit, etc).
