So Donald Duck and a swastika towel? A-OK in my books!

Mimi is used to sense powerful beings, right? She's might be just pointing to what she's used to finding, sources of power. If that's true, than Mimi must be being used a lot for that machine to have influenced her normal life that she does it by instinct.

Possibly.

I really like how Raven has grown up, besides from the visible ass-cheeks, I was thinking more towards her face in the last panel.

How very heart warming, to bad we already know how it ends.
I like how Mimi is sort of like her father in that first panel, with the bathtub and rubber duck.

I could simply be a hint about Mimi's forehead...ordainment...thingy, or she could be using her powers to read Raven's mind, or predict what happens to her in the future, something like that.

You can defiantly tell differences in age from her Teen Titan form. I wonder what her age is in relation to Blossom's. Like is she older, younger, or about the same? I want to say older just because the Teen Titans were mentioned in PPGD, but that doesn't mean a whole lot, seeing how this doesn't relate.

I think she is older then Blossom. She's what, 16-ish in the Teen Titans? If about then, and Blossom is ten to twelve here, then yeah.

This... swastika towel everyone is talking about...

That red thing in the giant final panel...

I'm 99% sure it's Mimi's ribbon.

Now that I think about it, Mimi has not smiled once in this entire comic. Especially here, the scowl is intimidating ... and a wee bit cute.
It kind of reminds me of another little girl/woman who always had frown on her face.

I think that Mimi and raven can relate to each other on various levels.
i.e. They both have father issues.
They have a history of sacraficing themselves for the good of humanity at a young age.
They never really had a "normal" childhood.
It also stands to reason that when they fight, neither would want to give up.

Is it just me, or does Mimi fart in the third panel?

She does. In defiance of Raven's "don't make bubbles" order. Additionally people, that's her ribbon and it's shaped like a wrinkled cloth ribbon, not a swastika. What the fuck.

Also major props to bleedman for surprisingly keeping a page with a naked female child in a bathtub pg, if there was any page where i'd suspect abuse, it would be a bathroom scene.

Well i think it's important. :I

Eh, I guess he saw the concept of a Bathroom scene 'too easy' so he probably respected himself and decided against it.

Do people really not know what a swastika looks like? I am in sheer fucking amazement at the logic people seem to operate by.

I think her hips/waist may be wider too, since she now appears to be wearing her belt straight, as opposed to the slanted way she did in TT (so it may no longer be loose on her)

Even the forehead hairstyle could tell it too.

Not a swastika. It's pointing the wrong way, people.

Yes and no. If you take the shape as a swastika, it's still a swastika, it doesn't matter what direction it's pointing. In that direction and angle it's pointing the wrong way for the Nazi swastika, but "swastika" is just the name for the shape. For theversion that is used by the Jains to symblize purity, the Chinese and Japanese as a good luck sign and the Native Americans (and a whole lot of other cultures) as a sun symbol, it's oriented just right. That being said, I think the ribbon is too curvy to actually be counted as a swastika (no sharp right angles) to me if you had to define the shape I'd say it was a windmill, or one of those things they put on Ancient Greek pottery made up of the four spirals (what is that called? I know that series of interlocking square spirals is called "Greek Keys" but the curvy one's name escapes me)

It looks like a H, not a swastica.

Anyway, time to drop this shit about it. New page is out and I condemn this thread.
