Speaking of Bastion and Portal, Bastion has a special reference to Portal in-game. Sadly, it's only for the PC version off steam.

Also, i just got an 360 a couple weeks ago myself. Looked at a couple games I remembered and some coming out. I remember Bioshock Infinite is supposed to come out later this month. Here's a few others I heard were good too.

You can get that pretty easy on anything. That first came with Plants Vs. Zombies, right?

Oh god, PvZ... So addicting. And Peggle too. Those guys know how to make a game that eats up hours upon hours of time.

Dead Space 3 might be enjoyable. I made a double shotgun. It's a shotgun on top of my shotgun.

While being more of a PC casual gamer, I do think The Mass effect and Bioshock series to be really good. There is also Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit that my friend recommend for being more story driven like The Walking Dead.

If you just want something to kill time, Bleed is a pretty fun gun side-scoller Platform game to check out as well.

I honestly have no preference, unless it's Call of Duty.

Just my opinion, but Sonic Generations is another great game! Best Sonic Game I've played since Sonic Adventure 2 (it's been that long!).
