Yup. I was a missionary, which is why I was gone from 2010 to 2012. I wasn't assigned to California, I had the Olympic peninsula area of Washington.


My mission president and his wife nearly died when they saw the four of us walk in there like that.

I wish they were real. They are just tattoo sleeves. My watch and the leather band on my other arm hid the lines of the sleeves. It did look like I got tattoos until you came up close to me. I can't find the picture of all four of us.

It was our P-day (which Monday and its like a rest day for us to get stuff), and the four of us were in an area that had the mission office. The mission office coordinated the mission, and the staff there and the mission president held meetings every P-Day morning. So we went there to talk to the mission president to go to Five Guys. we had to get permission to leave our Zone, its just a safety thing. But they weren't out yet. So we went across the street to a dollar tree, found these, bough a pair each, and wore them into the mission office.

Freaked them out a little bit, no mission president likes to see their Zone Leaders with tattoos, but they all laughed about it when they could tell it was fake. So it was just a joke.

I can imagine the Zone Leaders would be pissed. I wouldn't doubt they would beat you to some degree, but I digress haha. I've never seen these things before though, but I would love to buy something like this. Also sounds like a prank I would pull as well.
