It's a little less than the size of my sister's hand, haha.

I'd probably give a dog that big some kind of goofy name just to confuse people.

Read that as "Avatar: The Laser Airbender".

And that lil guy does look like an itty bitty baby Whatis. He even has the "Watr yu lokin at?" face right.

Ours were Precious, Whiskers and Snowball.

Precious was a little doll who liked to be pampered. Whiskers was super chill and didn't care, but still liked to mess around if someone gave him attention (plus had crazy long whiskers compared to his sister). And Snowball was white. And mine. I miss him the most...

It's odd when I think about it, but you people give your pets either people names or call them names derived from actual words.

My cat was called Pati. And that name was not derived from Patricia.

I think I mentioned this before but my cats are named Eclipse and Sunspot. Eclipse is a black cat with a white/silver undercoat, and Sunspot is an orange tortoiseshell tabby, or torby if you will. Both very sweet.

Typical tabby but with a VERY noticeable M with no other features on his face. Max was his name. So much energy, so hectic and spontaneous.

Then there was the other one. A solid black with the tiniest splash of white just at his neck that almost looks like a tie.

Thus, Sam and Max. FREELANCE KITTIES!

i had a black cat named cassie after cassie the black girl in the animorphs who was the best cat in the world RIP RIP RIP :'(

my current cat is a grumpy old man cat with no name because my grandmother never learned about creativity and picked him because he was the only yellow cat in a litter of kittens and so his name as far as she goes is just "Yellow Cat" but she is southern so she says it like "Yeller Cat" and I just call him Grumpy Old Man Cat or Grump for short because that is what he is. He has long conversations with me.

"did you see the mouse today"

"mur"

"i'm sorry."

"mur"

"do you think you will see him tonight"

"mur"

"good hunting, nightwatchman."

"mur"

We have a white cat we got feral, whom we named Hakumai, meaning white rice. He's terrified of everything to the point of comedy.

Ironically enough Hakumai can also translate to "impending doom".

When my dad was growing up his family had two siamese cats, male and female, who they named bonnie and clyde. As I've mentioned before, my gf's family has a big orange tabby named Milo.
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."
