A few other publishers/developers have also been posting stuff like "To the THQ staff, we're hiring!" on their twitter feeds. Same thing when the Kingdoms of Amalur guys went under. There does seem to be a supportive sense of community in the video game industry at large, perhaps due to the recession taking 'der jobs.

I wonder if anyone will buy up the rights to Red Faction? If I had to guess, it'd probably be EA.

Ya, that's true, they kinda took the game in a direction I didn't like too. I liked it better as a linear FPS.
By the way, was there an RPG series THQ made? I keep thinking there was.

My favourite part of Red Faction was just destroying buildings with my hammer, seriously. My friend and I spent like a whole evening doing that.
