Hmm, it's cool you can watch replays of your games. I mean, I've played RTS's a bunch, just I dunno, there's that stigma about Starcraft where all the gamers are super intense. I tend to like semi-historical RTS's anyhow, so I probably won't pick it up

There are usually like, 25 or so teams in the pool, unless you meant how many players do I get on my fantasy team. Each team gets 14 forwards, 4 d-men, 2 goalies, and 3 reserve players who can be any positions.

He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

There's a lot of jerkwads who think they're all that in the community, but that's the same with any online game. It's also a faster paced RTS where games can last anywhere from 4 minutes to an hour depending on who does what.

Now are the players exclusive to that "GM"? Because if so, 2 goalies are gonna be tough.

No, there can be duplicates, there's no "draft" style picking.

Alright, that makes life easier but also can make the standings tighter or can screw you on one or two bad picks.

Yep, have to gamble on a few guys that you hope no one else will pick to produce for you, while still making sure enough of your picks match up with other people's so you can keep pace with the pack.

So everyone takes a Giroux, Stamkos, Malkin and then it's wagering on Jamie Benn breaking out with Jagr's help if he can stay healthy. Or betting what might be a sure bet isn't going to repeat last years numbers.

They pretty much executed everything wrong with SC2, especially the customs scene and the editor which prohibited me from remaking a popular map of mine from WC3. A new player shouldn't even need what you said Calek. Oh well. It's a shame WC3 is dead for the most part.

I think SC2 was definitely more made for the hardcore strategy aspect. Korea seems to love it.

That's because Starcraft is Korea's top rated Sport and Religion, the way I hear it.

A new player may not need all the build orders or the strategies that are currently available, but they certainly don't hurt. Especially the simple easy builds like the 4 gate for Protoss which teaches basic mechanics and makes the player learn why you build things at certain times.

Which is why I suggest them because it teaches you how to play the game.

A friend of mine says if I proofread his stories I can borrow his copy of Thousand Year Door. It beats buying one across the street for 30 bucks... I'm all... what? I'm not paying that much :I And I'm not one to buy stuff off the internet. Iuno why. I just don't.

So Sticker Star wasn't that good then, Male?

It was alright; it has the humor and charm but it lacked a story, new characters, partners, any sort of leveling up system, new enviorments, and dialogue from Bowser (seriously he doesn't talk at ALL in this game).
Also I found every boss encounter in the game to be HORRIBLY unbalanced, the fights are either too easy or too hard. All the bosses have way too much health (the first boss has 90 HP while the 2nd one has 300 HP) and you deal very little damage, the most you can inflict is about 6 points a turn. The only way to stand a chance is to use a specific special sticker on them and that completely fucks them up, making the rest of the fight a joke.

I just read in more detail the human rights atrocities we've let them get away with on the basis of religious freedom. It is a tad bit ridiculous.
