Joker I really mean no offense but I am not clicking on that because I am one of the many here who consider watching series about dudes dressed up in bug costumes something that was totally groovypants when we were 10 but not today. It's cool if it's your hobby, and you really really really seem to like these things so i'm being honest by telling you that we don't really share the same sentiment, i'm telling you because i don't like when people verbally abuse someone by their preferences, and i don't think you quite grasp that sans you, almost no one watches these shows here.

In other news I'm currently developing a pen and paper game based around the zombie apocalypse. Pretty simple as there's five stats rolled by d6 and a few skills. It's designed to be fast to roll and fast to die (Without perks the best HP you can get at the start is 6). Having a test game on Sunday.

Anyone interested in it once I iron out some bugs and make sure it's steady?

So I had my first test run of the game. It's (Tentatively) titled Keep Calm! (And Survive the Apocalypse). Some of my players love this name, others despise it. Opinions?

The game is as deadly as I wanted it to be, but the players were doing well until they tried to take on seven (Low level) looters. They could have done it but they all failed their surprise round and couldn't hit them when they took cover. But it has that tension of coming across a large group of zombies in a block and decided to quietly backtrack because they don't have the skills, or ammo, to take them out. Quick as shit to roll characters though. I think when they wiped it only took like two minutes for everyone to pick their choices and roll new characters. Not that there's much to choose from but you know!

The game is actually being developed to be used as a base for a modular system, so you can swap out settings, enemies, weapons, basically anything but the core rules and have a game tailored to your liking. For example, bumping stats to using d20s instead of d6s but not increasing damage, and swapping guns to laser weapons or something and changing the enemies and setting and you have a good sci-fi game with rules that will work.

That's the plan anyway. I'd make a thread in Games but I've a feeling it'll be glossed over. I can create a thread with links to the game if anyone's interested that much? Or I can just post in here. Whatever works.
