Yep.
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

a counsin went to canada once
he said he was starving because the food is bland and that in every corner there was a fast food restaurant
that he got excited because he saw a big vat of beans in a restaurant, but that he almost puked because these beans tasted sweet

i think he's a lying shit but i havent visited canada so i dont know
i imagine that there are many hotcakes there

It's a weird statement to say that the food was bland because there isn't really "canadian" food at all.

Except Maple Syrup, but you can't really count that as food.

Do Eastern and Western parts of Canada hate each other Tuor?

Because I think you're about as west as you could be.

Do you like, drive your snow mobile with your homies to the community centre and then run into the rival east-side gang, and then go on an epic adventure where you become a politician, bring about sweeping changes to the country, defeat your opponents, befriend your enemies, smoke pot, and fix the nation?

Because that would be mighty cool. Cool enough to make a movie about it.

I think the east west tensions pale in comparisons to civilized Canada and the heathens in Quebec.

Depends on the province and town. Most of the Maritimes seem to be fish based and of english, scottish and irish descent, Quebec is french and it reflects but also has Italian and Jewish communities, Ontario especially Toronto and surrounding cities is all over the place but the rest seems to be the stereotypes, BC is just an extension of Washington and Oregon, the Plains seem to be like the Maritimes minus the fish except the cities because they're cities and the two other provinces are like bumfuck tundra.
