In a car you should always have a flashlight, gloves, spare tire, tire iron, jack, bungees, ratcheting straps, screw drivers, adjustable wrench, some extra fluids, a funnel and some rags.

Phone charger is nice, I forgot about jumper cables or a jump box. Don't use a reverse feed charger through the cigarette lighter.

Yeah I have a box that you charge and then throw in the trunk and leave until you need it, of course check it a few times a month.

a flashlight- phone has a flashlight, as do my work gloves technically speaking, but those are dead.
gloves- work gloves are sometimes in my car, sometimes out. Right now they are on my end table
spare tire- Check
tire iron- Check
jack- technically have one but it is the stock bottle jack and I do not have stock tires
bungees, ratcheting straps- I have straps but they aren't ratcheting. And not sufficient amounts of bungees
screw drivers- I have no clue.
adjustable wrench- not in my car
some extra fluids- I have never had a problem with fluids except the first time I drove my Jetta when an oil gasket burst and I lost all my oil.
