Appearance: Standing at 5'10 and weighing a whopping 130 lbs, Max doesn't look that impressive at all. Very thin despite his love of cooking (most believe he burns all the calories by talking) it has allowed him to be very manuverable and flexible. He has short brown hair and brown eyes and usually has a big smile on his face, especially when he's talking. His attire consists of long black pants and a dark green collar long sleeve collar shirt, buttoned up in the front and black shoes as well. Max also wears a belt with two small holders at each hip for his Knives, which he carries with him everywhere.
Weapon of Choice: Like any good cook, he never goes anywhere without his trusty
Chef Knives. All of them are roughly 12 incehes long and Max has 4 of them in total. They are all named after a different blue sea. Max uses two of them at a time in battle. He usually tries to rotates between them evenly but instead tends to use his "East" and "West" knives the most in battle.
Attack List Theme: Types of Cuts in cooking.
Slice - A simple downward slash at the opponent with a single knife. Nothing fancy
Dice - Uses one blade to slash sideways while the other to slash vertically. Varies the size of the slashes based on the size of the opponent
Julienne - Uses both knives to slash vertically or horizontally in a fine line
Mince - Quick Stabs aimed at the opponent's midsection with both or just one knife
(etc, etc, will add more when the time comes/decides to stop being lazy)
Personality Defect: Max often talks out loud to himself rather than thinking.
Traits: A man who could talk your ear off and then some, Max doesn't hold back in conversations. Max isn't shy about who he talks with either. Be it strangers, friends, or even himself, it doesn't matter to him so long as they can listen. However, he doesn't appear to have many interests outside of cooking, so all of his other hobbies tend to revolve around making himself better in the art of cooking (either by reading or observing other chefs in action). When not cooking or preparing however, he can be seen juggling his knives or throwing them at a target to work on his hand eye coordination more.
As for the meals, Max only has three rules: (1) Finish what you're given, (2) Don't insult the meal, and (3) NEVER come into the kitchen when he's cooking (captain is excluded from rule #3). If any of these rules are broken a knife is sure to follow shortly towards the rule breaker's head. Those who are lucky it grazes their hair, and those who aren't tend to get a knife to the skull.

Basic Bio: Born to a rather poor family without much to themselves, Max became fascinated with the art of cooking while he was young. Often drawn to the delicious smells in his hometown, he was eventually allowed to work at one of the establishments. It was there that Max began to show his annoying habits and was eventually fired for being detrimental to the team as a whole. Max took that criticism to heart and decided that if he was that detestable as a co-worker, there was only one place for him: with pirates.
Goal: To sample all the food in the world, and from that create the ultimate seven course feast with the foods he feels are the best
