First Super Meatboy and now Sonic Adventure 2. If I have VSync on they go too fast, if I have it off they go too slow.
There's no graphics options in the games to balance this, you guys know any solutions?

Fiddle with the rest of the graphics.

Keep VSync on, while lowering textures that sort of thing.

How many cores you got? If those games have an .ini file, you can change the thread count to your number of cores, boost your power.

Got an i5. It's a dual-core, simulates a quad-core.
Not sure if they all have the .ini file.

As long as it simulates it a quad core, then go for it.

Go into the .ini if you can find it, and find the threaded AI line. It should say that it equals something. If it doesn't already equal 4, then change it to match it.

Then just save it. You might want to make a backup, just in case.

After that, the boost in power should allow you to keep VSync on. If not, turn the graphics down a little.

Worst comes to worst, send me a copy of the file, and I'll see if I can get on a computer in some cafe and fix down the game acceleration for you, so you can turn off VSync.

The only place I can fiddle with the graphics is on the graphics card. Sega did a bad port of SA2 and there's no graphics options.
I'll take a look into things.

And try and look for some tools to screw around with SA2. Honestly, the Internet is such a large expanse that I wouldn't be surprised if their was a solution somewhere.

Downloaded NVidiaInspector. Used it to open the advanced options of the graphics card and limited FPS to 60.
SA2 is running smoothly now and I'm very happy.
