He was probably the best leader in modern times, and was squandered as a dictator and mass murderer. Imagine what he could've done for Germany if his subordinates provided an environment that would encourage his mental growth.

He probably would have run things more competently. But if he had still attacked the Soviet Union, they would still have stomped him, and if he hadn't, the Western front might have held out long enough for the US to use nukes in Europe. And if he'd been really good, he might have tried to revitalize Germany in ways that didn't require militaristic expansion.

I think if he utilized the Jewish population in the military as suicide brigades(like what the Soviets did with retreaters, deserters and POWs), then he would have had a better chance. Imagine some 6 million(accounting for Jews, gypsies, homosexuals, Communists, Socialists, and other undesirables he killed, then approximately halving for possible non-combatants) fighting for their and their families' freedom. Passionate fighters. Also saves the manpower that would otherwise equip camps and ghettos.
