Stuff: An Unexpected Journey.

This forum can be a scary place, 'cause we got lax rules: let's see your war face. Take a breath, and roll the dice, you might find out we're really nice.

Radaghast is obviously the Santa of Middle-Earth. He leaves Hobbits weed, Dwarves gold, Elves hair dye, Men wigs, and Gollum gets fake rings. : D

That'd explain how Middle-Earth became England.

I think we're gonna need a confirmation on that from Grey and/or Doctress, but it sounds promising.

Then I guess you saw it normal with 24 fps. I dunno if they made it clear where you are but here they had on the ticket 24fps or 48fps.

It really is. My friend was saying it was making him sick whenever they would pan over or something.

But he was also hiding in his hoodie smoking pot for the first thirty minutes of the movie.

Quick question to everyone that watched the movie. With 3D or without?
I'm thinking without.

I've always agreed with Roger Ebert's opinion that 3D is largely not worth it and is really just a more expensive gimmick. I prefer to watch my films in 2D.

Anyone see it in 48fps, that's what I'm most interested in and whether or not it was actually a good choice.

And... I ended up not seeing the movie. I expected to have back row seats available a week later, there weren't any.

My dad saw it in 3D with the 48 fps and said it was amazing, like it felt as though you were sitting with the characters.
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

But I've heard that is also it's undoing because it ruins some of the smoke and mirrors.

I've heard that too, but he didn't mention that was the case for him.

Anyhow, my friends and I are going tomorrow to see it and I said we were gonna see it in 2D and he gave me money and said I HAD to see it in 3D, haha

I just watched it because I watched the trilogy at the cinema.
But I wasn't going to pay for 3D anyway.
